RACE1

7-Majestic Virgin – Showed improvement when she flashed some sneaky late pace last week, faces another demanding draw, but drops again after a couple of needed acclimating miles

2-Chelski – Improving 4YO worked her way up to N/W of 5 @ Yonkers, an inside draw paves the way to a smooth transition to the mile track & this stalking type can exploit a real soft spot here

6-Alkippe – Her lone win last year came here, she makes her second start off the bench, drops to the bottom condition & can use her speed with a midpack launch

RACE 2

1-Beautiful Game – Well-bred Grand Circuit winning filly put forth a solid 3YO debut for Nifty Norman, lands inside again to take another step forward with her stakes season on the horizon

6-Sheswildnfree – Red-hot 4YO mare has four of five this season, ships south for Team Baillargeon fresh off the mile of her life, that was 39 days ago, but layoffs haven’t hindered too many Mohawk shippers

2-Seven Nation Army – Lightly-raced Chapter Seven colt with a $100,000 price tag added trotting hopples & rallied to win his second start back @ Pocono, draws well to continue his progress

RACE 3

1-Steuben Hanover – Added Lasix & has been knocking on the door since arriving for the 2019 Hambo winning combo, now moves to the rail to work out a closer stalking trip & flaunt his big late kick

3-Chiplosive – Capitalized on the class drop & pop in a big way, wiring weaker from post seven, nosed out before that & draws better in prime form

5-Memo – Mohawk shipper from the top notch Richard Moreau barn ships south for Team Burke, hasn’t raced in 34 days & comes off a clunker, but has had his moments against tougher up north

RACE 4

5-Bettor BB – That was a wire-to-wire lifetime best blowout two starts back, followed by a fading sixth with a good second over trip, has a chance to rebound off another claim & draws a bit better

1-S Mckee – Form cycled right to the top & went all the way from post six two starts back as the heavy favorite, now trying to bounce back off a dull eighth with a dip in price, plus the rail

4-Sharknado – 0 for 12 this season, solid runner up three starts back, drops back in for that bottom claiming tag & draws better after chasing a 1:51.3 winner last out

RACE 5

2-Rattle My Cage – Lightly-raced Hambo eligible looked more than ready when he beat Mycrownmykingdom in his second qualifier here, draws inside to work out a smooth trip for a sharp trotting barn

8-Really Fast – Brother to 1:52.4 performer & KYSS champion MS Savannah Belle added trotting hopples & steamrolled first over to win his debut for Team Takter, 28 days off & post eight might not matter

4-Ritson – Runner up to a sharp Hambo hopeful in Mycrownmykingdom in a solid Big M debut, brother to 1:52.3 performer Winning Shadow draws a bit better for the follow up & leads a Mark Steacy 1-2 punch

RACE 6

4-Pantheon Hanover – Classy 9YO landing on the fringes after slow starts since acclimating here, fresh claim for Besim The Dream has a chance to step it up from an improved post

5-Western Redhot – Forced wide & finished well from a tough spot last week, just missed with a huge rally before that & would benefit from an expected hot pace in this very competitive affair

2-Ideal Son – Only one for 16 this season, but runner up in his last three, just missed with a more aggressive effort as the beaten favorite again, claimed & draws better

RACE 7

5-P L Leeroy – Pulled off the classic trainer hands the lines to a top driver upset, but few could’ve predicted a sizzling 1:51.3 blowout from post nine, logical to assume he’ll make a similar attempt

6-Master Conrad – Was on a major form spree & had won three of his last four before shaking loose too late after a terrible trip as the beaten favorite, his barn has been on a major roll & Mack MacDonald is back in the bike

2-Dateline Hanover – Finished well to hit the board in a much-improved effort off the claim & draws inside again with some back class in his arsenal

RACE 8

3-Major Asset – Just one for 11 in 2021, but note the game second for this price @ Harrah’s Philadephia last out & now a barn change & inside draw

5-Rockin Rambaran – 11YO warhorse beat these when he catapulted off a :53.4 half fresh off the claim two starts back, pace compromised in the GSY Series, back to stalk from midpack with Gingras

2-Par Intended – 0 for his last 35 & winless this season, but has been competitive with these on occasion, in line for an opportunistic smooth trip from another inside post

RACE 9

4-Buzinga N – 1:51.2 performer @ Hoosier Park in 2020, built some momentum with two needed starts against tougher @ Yonkers & draws well to make an immediate impression here

7-Stephanie Deo – Lightly-raced 4YO has come back strong this season for Noel Daley, was able to control the lead to take a new mark, tougher post, but fits nicely here with lots of potential

1-Gottalovemyshadow – With the exception of an impossible trip two starts back she’s been on a very nice form spree, just missed to heavy favorite Rub On Rails last week & draws inside that rival

RACE 10

1-Wings Of Speed – Arrives in the potent Richard Johnson barn off a runner up finish & lands the rail in a really wide-open field, hasn’t raced in 34 days, but that doesn’t seem to hurt the Mohawk shippers

4-Zlatan – 8YO veteran was able to fully capitalize on the drop to the bottom condition, cruising all the way & now bumped up brimming with confidence with a better post

8-All American N – Runner up in his last two & just missed from post ten despite a brutal trip two starts back, stuck outside, but speed & form can overcome

RACE 11

7-Staycation Hanover – Talented Somebeachsomewhere filly bounced back from a narrow loss with another brilliant sprint as the heavy favorite & rates top billing for Team Pelling despite the tougher post

9-Always B First – Always B Miki filly was barely outsprinted by Staycation Hanover in :26.3, moves farther outside, but has loads of upside for a sharp barn

2-Uptown Hanover – Heads the Team Burke inside three in here, major stakes placed at two, solid qualifier in some top company & draws well to set up a stalking trip

RACE 12

2-Major Occasion A – Hampered by a slow start from post ten last week & needed the race, 1:48.1 performer & 2020 Dorothy Haughton shocker finally moves inside & revving up for her stakes campaign

4-Gia’s Surreal – Dominated in a career best of 1:50.3 in a sparkling Big M debut, then post, pace & trip compromised last week, an ideal candidate for a bounce back for the lethal Brennen & Drennan combo

3-Sweet Lucy Lou – Reeled off a surprising brush n crush upset last week fresh off a sick scratch, that gives her plenty to build on & she’s finally rewarded with an inside draw for a barn going well

RACE 13

7-Notorious – 0 for his last 28, but kicked it up a notch or two with back-to-back seconds on Lasix added, switches from claimers, would benefit from a fast pace & Tyler Miller is off to a promising start

9-Stirling Ensign – 0 for his last 22, but has revived since the late March sick scratch, showing some speed & hit the board in his last two, right there from post eight last week

5-Luck N Roll K – Just two for his last 36 & winless this season, but showing signs of life recently, kicked home in :26.3 from an impossible spot last week after missing 36 days & retains the patient Doug McNair
