- There have been 11 entries in the history of the Classic - none have won
- Brett Pelling has entered the New Jersey Classic elims five times, and won all five: 1996 - Compelled, 1997 - JK Outlaw, Jeremys Gambit, Dream Away, 1998 - Al For President
- 1998 will be Mike Lachance's 11th consecutive drive in a Classic final. Only twice has he gotten a check: 1997 - Jeremys Gambit - 3rd; 1990 - Too Good - 1st
