ZEITING TOPS MISS LIBERTY FIELD AT BIG M East Rutherford, N.J...Zeiting and jockey Mike Luzzi split horses in late stretch to capture the featured $45,000 Miss Liberty Stakes by 3/4 of a length on Friday night at the Meadowlands. Trained by Christophe Clement, Zeiting covered the mile and 70 yards over a firm turf course in 1:40 and paid $6.60. Silver Rail completed a $23.20 exacta and bested Irving's Baby by a neck. The win marked the first this year in six tries for the Irish-bred three-year-old filly by Zieten who now has lifetime earnings of $77,460 for owner Brendam Hayes.
