HAY SEPPIE TAKES THURSDAY FEATURE AT BIG M East Rutherford, N.J...Hay Seppie rallied through the stretch to run down pacesetter It's a Dusty Beauty by a half length in the featured $32,500 allowance race for New Jersey breds at the Meadowlands on Thursday night.
 
Trained by Manny Berrios, Hay Seppie covered the mile and 70 yards in 1:43 3/5 and returned $14 for the win and topped a $84.60 exacta. Freedom's Magic rounded out the top trio.
 
The win was the first in 12 tries this year for the four-year-old filly by Hay Halo who now boasts lifetime earnings of $52,582 for owner Menotti Lembo.
