1 AIR STRIKE Basically no factor in either leg of the series, so it's hard to imagine that will change much. He does get a good inside post tonight, so he can sit a touch closer. Let's see if there's any more punch in the tank.
2 WINDSONG LEO Gave #5 all he could handle last week and simply could not get by. Same boat here? Or will the strategy change? Has the inside post edge, so we could be looking at a big time speed play. Should be good fight.
3 CAJON LIGHTNING Like #1, he's basically just been keeping up of late, not much more. I guess I'd be surprised if he uncorked a bigger kick to threaten the faves. Has to find more to have any upset chance.
4 PHOENIX WARRIOR N Here's the key to the race! From the pace perspective. Flashed some wild speed when he saw him two weeks ago. Was also dead game right to the wire. Had a nice tuneup at home base. This is talented horse!
5 BARIMAH A That was some effort last week! Used pretty hard to get to the lead, but then swelled up once there. Kept digging in to keep #2 at bay. Horse is razor sharp right now, but might get tested again from this post. Trainer: Been racing well every time!
6 HUG THE WIND N Raced a whole lot better last week, with a good bounce back performance. Tonight's problem will likely be the post. With all the speed to the inside, it doesn't seem he can reach. Will hope for a little mayhem, and a sweep.

1 ROLLING SEA What's happened to this poor guy since he left here? Was super sharp back in Jan and Feb and now the wheels have come off. I'm glad to see him back here, and with some much needed post relief. Wakeup time?
2 APPLE HEIR Made no real impact in the first try here. Okay. Drew another good inside post, but will need to step it up a notch or two. Not sure we can count on that just yet.
3 SLIPIN SKIP That was simply an indescribable mile last week! After going 2:00 in a qualifier, he shaved 10 seconds off that to pace in 51, wrapped up. Can't wait to see what we get tonight. Was Corey's choice over #8,. Speed coming.
4 YO APOLLO CREED His game is getting a little bit better lately. Has now proved he can come from off the pace too! Might need that kind of effort, with the likes of #3 in here. Will also have to go a little faster, but I think he can.
5 ROCKIN MACHINE After missing a couple weeks, he just took back and toured the oval last time. Now, it's second on Lasix, but a real tough bunch again. I can't say he'll get much closer with these. We'll see about that.
6 ODDS ON DELRAY Ordinarily, this would be nice spot for a comebacker, but this isn't an easy spot. I'm also a little concerned about the gap between qualifiers. Is he fully cranked and ready to pace in 52, like #3? I have my doubts.
7 THRDTHRSDAYNSPTMBR A little bit flat in his first try here. Now, the post is tougher, and so is the field, in my opinion. Have to rate him a longshot from way out here.
8 ROCK ON LINE After missing more than a month last time, he raced great! However, he's not exactly "rewarded" with this post, or the strength of this field. Loses Corey to #3, but should be firing out anyway. It's those two. Trainer: Should be tight now. I expect a top effort out of him this week.

1 AMERICAN VISION Be careful here, folks. Drifted quite a bit in that qualifier, which isn't always a good sign. He did rate and relax up front, but when the test came, he was outkicked. I think he'll need another, so I'll swing against.
2 OUR ART AND HEAVEN Did not make it a real race last year at two, but did improve dramatically in his second baby race. Have to say he's a much stronger version here at three. Might not be ready to go fast enough, but on right track.
3 WHEELS ON FIRE Another that shows a less-than-stellar qualifier, so be careful. Started that mile sluggishly and had no pop at all. With that said, I can see the connections involved, so let's expect him to be a lot better tonight. Adds L.
4 TRUE CUT Raced well enough to hit the board last week, at odds of 96-1. Not bad! He merely "towed" along and kept up okay. Technically, he paced a lot faster than most of these can. Will he be that good again? Not sure.
5 WHEN I SEE YOU N Also coming out of qualifiers and to be honest, wasn't very good in either of them. Note that he's a 4YO, against mostly 3YO's here. But he shows only four lifetime starts. Can't hop on board just yet.
6 SAMMY'S LIGHTNING Didn't make any moves in the same qualifier as #1. I thought his better qualifier was the first one. Will that have him ready for this test from an outside post? Did show speed last year. Big question mark.
7 LUCKY LEONARD He qualified okay, and then got stuck in that ridiculous 51 mile. I can understand he wasn't ready for that. But, now it's a big switch to an outside post. I'd like to see speed, and then he packs upset chance.
4 Fourth Race Entries

1 BLOW A CLOUD N MIA for three weeks, so that's a problem. Ends up in a very tough spot here against the likes of #2,5,6. Have to feel he's probably a step below them, so I will pass and watch one. Tows along on the rail.
2 BETTOR'S EDGE Managed to get beat twice over at Pocono, but was used hard both times. What will the plan be from this post? He was racing better from just off the pace here. Have to think that will be the tactic.
3 ALL BETS OFF Did not have a good run in the Levy over at Yonkers, so that does worry me a little bit. He seemed fine in the prep qualifiers here. On his best day, he's more than capable, but is he fully ready after missing three weeks?
4 ROCKEYED OPTIMIST Just when a race becomes impossible to handicap, here's comes Rockeyed! Has the benefit of three qualifiers to get ready, and he has fired fresh off the bench before. Would be very hard to ignore in here.
5 AWESOMENESS Did not seem to like the half in that one Levy try. Quickly yanked out of that. Regained both form and speed in PA last few weeks. Last time we saw him here, he was solid. Marohn stays loyal to this barn, over #6.
6 WESTERN JOE Joe got a nice little break for a couple of weeks, and he sure earned it. Got tortured and parked over at Yonkers, so I think we can just forget about that one. The post tonight is a concern, but he should bounce back. Trainer: We took a trip over the bridge last week and got a little roughed up. Now back home on the mile where he is most comfortable. I think he will bounce back with a solid effort.

1 MAJOR SUGAR RUSH Showed a little talent last year, so that's a good thing. Showed up for qualifier two weeks ago and was okay, towing along. Did not come back and qualify again last week, but why? I think he'll need one.
2 CALIFORNIA CRUISIN Couldn't possibly have raced any better in that ridiculous 51 mile last week. He finished up full of pace, which is exactly what they wanted. Meets a weaker crew here tonight and simply put, should jog. Trainer: Has had a run of bad luck. Scoped sick last week, and looking for a turnaround.
3 GO WEST GO FAST Might be the only one that has chance to give #2 a little tussle. Made 11 starts last year and was okay, racing against some serious horses. Qualifier was better than looks on paper, so it appears he's come back good.
4 POP'S ROMEO Did go a little bit better in the second try here, so that's a step in the right direction. I don't anticipate much of a hot pace in here, so that won't help his rally. Might need to get a little lucky to have a shot in here.
5 WHATA TWIST Usually around for a minor share, and that will be the goal again. Grinded it out gamely last time, so same thing likely coming. Let's see if he can go any faster. Trainer: Hoping for another check.
6 SUPER FREEKEH Just a tad flat late in the lane of his most recent qualifier. Therefore, I'll go with theory that he might need a real race or two before we see best. That, plus the post, make him a pass for me.
7 LONG BEACH Zipped over to Pocono for that series and did not have enough stamina to threaten. He did show speed, however. Have to think Andy will send him out of there like he did here last month. Will threaten.

1 STORMTRACKER Got locked in a little too long last week, but flashed a good kick when she did get out. Everybody saw it, so I don't know what the price will be tonight. Plus, I don't think she's as good as #2 right now. Your call?
2 APPLE BOTTOM JEANS Couldn't possibly have been any more impressive in either leg. She just steamrolled them! Since she drew ideal inside post. I see no reason to go against her. The trip doesn't matter. She's just good!
3 PRINCESS FABULOSA Went a bit faster and got a little closer last week. Since she drew right next to #2, I think the strategy will be to follow her. That's guaranteed live cover. A very good price play "use" underneath in gimmicks.
4 WINDSUN GLORY Her stock has fallen a point or two here so far. BUT, last week's effort was her best one yet. She is versatile enough to do it either way. Guaranteed to make at least one big move in here, maybe even two.
5 BETTORHAVEANOTHER Used to get to the lead last week and she did get collared by #2 as no match. Can't expect that to change, but she will likely fire out. If she can slow the pace some, the stamina level might go up.
6 FAMILY ROLL CALL Been no match for these, so continued longshot status is expected. Would be a shocker.
7 KISS ME ONTHEBEACH Ended up with a couple of nice trips in first few for Team Orange Crush, but came up a bit short during crunch time. This post hurts tonight. Not sure if she'll even try to fire out. In too tough.
8 OK HEAVENLY The bettors finally bailed out of her boat last week and she was still no threat. Unless you tell me there will be absolute mayhem up front, she will be too far back to do any damage. Hoping for a very hot pace.
9 FILLY FORTY SEVEN Very good in round one. Mysterious break last week. Have to pass from way out here.
10 VALUABLE ART Raced her eyeballs out last week, fighting back to earn the win. It was her first start on Lasix too! But, if you ask me who was more impressive, I have to give the vote to #2. Not mention this is dreaded post 10.
7 Seventh Race Entries

1 SANTIAGO STYLE Showed a new dimension of speed last week, and then got shuffled a bit. Gets the class relief he needs, and the rail now. So, I do wonder what the strategy will be? The grind, or the speed? Either way, must use.
2 JOJO JOVE Went a monster mile to beat Talent Soup two weeks ago with a brutal trip. Turned in exact opposite performance last week with a good trip. Go figure! You think it's an easy game trying to handicap? It's not.
3 DEERFIELD BEACH Flaunted his back class with a steamrolling type move to crush them last week. Should serve as the perfect confidence builder. Not worried about the class hike, because he's faced better before. One to beat?
4 INFORCE Gets into this race with the extended condition of $8,600. He's got $8,580. Usually that's a good thing, but I do wonder if he's a true big track horse? Slow starts don't usually help. Let's see if he belongs here.
5 SOVEREIGN BANNER N Sports a real mixed bag of efforts lately over at Yonkers. The recent run of the bad post blues cost him much chance. This is completely different! And note, that he's won here before. Live longshot?
6 QUALITY BUD Slick drive by Jimmy last week, skimming the cones with a nice bit of pace to grab second. That surprised me, and I didn't expect that. Same kind of style coming here. Might end up in a live flow. Trainer: Is in very good shape and racing well. I'm surprised that Marohn picked off, but I will have my good friend Mike Simons on. He will get along with him and think he will do very well.
7 MAAJAACKKOBE Barn has two in here, but I think the other has the better chance. This is big bump back UP in class and a switch to an outer post. Probably at mercy of both pace and trip. Let's see how it works out.
8 JK PARLAY Won, as expected, over that much weaker bunch last week. This is now curious spot against some tough, older veteran pacers. In other words, this will be NO cakewalk on the lead. Let's see how good he is right now.
9 ROCKIN THE HOUSE Ordinarily, I'd give big time consideration to this fella on the class drop like this. BUT, he gets worst post, in a race with questionable pace scenario. Might not be easy to sweep the field tonight.

1 FRANKANDJOANNE Finally gets a break at the post draw here. That alone should put him in better contention. There are a few question marks in here, so I wouldn't talk you off this one at the right price. Can show some speed.
2 THAT'S MY OPINION Seems to have worked his way just a little too high in class right now. Also gets a better post, but is probably at mercy of both pace and trip. Looking like a longshot again, in my opinion.
3 ART HISTORY Hooked up with Capozzo last week from the 3/4 pole to wire and lost the way. Simply put, he's just not sharp right now and always seems to be short price. Yes, he needs this class drop back down. Hard to love.
4 DYNAMITE DUDE A Acclimated pretty quickly upon arrival from Florida. That looks like a real "adventurous" mile over at Yonkers last time and he still kept coming. I like this spot here on the mile. Big shot for Mike Simons!
5 JUSTIFIED Firing back on short rest here, after a bit of a clunker at Yonkers on Tuesday. Was even money and his bid wasn't all that strong. He's delivered many fine miles here, and usually at around this level. Wouldn't be a shocker.
6 DRUNK ON YOUR LOVE Stakes winner last year at three makes his fourth start back off the layoff. Took an aggressive try at Pocono last week with a tough trip and was still around near the end. Keeps getting better, but needs a trip now.
7 MISTER TRUTH Getting back to the level where he becomes more dangerous. But, he does lose Eric A again, and he handles this guy well. Tell me he's firing out here, and I would say use him as a live longshot. Dangerous.
8 ROCKIN RAMBARAN No idea what to expect out of this guy tonight. Between the bad posts, the scratch and dull efforts, he's just a mystery in here. This is the proper level, if he were to be cranked and ready tonight. Your call?

1 ALOTBETTOR N Dropped and popped at a very short price over at Yonkers, so now begins the ascent back up the class ladder. Got the rail, so that helps. Looking at a tow along trip to pick up a check.
2 SOHO WALLSTREET A Woke back up in a BIG way last week! Loaded with late pace. Andy Mac had some choices here, and opted for the Street over #1,5. A very telling choice? I think so. Time to hop back on board this boat.
3 CALVIN B Flaunted some of his old back class to beat up on that weaker bunch. But, that was last week, and now this field could be a little too tough for him. Even Corey opted to #6, so I'll let him do the handicapping for me.
4 FIRST CLASS HORSE Working his way back into shape off the layoff, and he's just not ready for this yet. Pass.
5 COWBOY TERRIER Found a nice field of his "friends" opening week at Philly. Prior to that, he was a little overmatched against the likes of Rodeo Romeo here. He has surprised us here before, but needs even more than last week.
6 EMERITUS MAXIMUS Used pretty hard in a solid pace last week, before giving way. Sometimes, it takes a start or two over this strip to get used to that speed. Corey chose him over Cal, so that's a big call! We might see more now.
7 SWEET ROCK The Rock is back to Club Med tonight for Wayne Givens. He's had more than a few top notch starts here, so let's expect a big one. The post is a concern, but he can leave if Victor wants. Outclasses many of these.

1 STORMIN TOM CREEK Didn't really make much of an impact in the first try here. Not exactly having a good year so far, at 0-11. On the plus side, this field does look a touch weaker than that last one. Let's see some improvement.
2 BRIGADIERBRONSKI A First start in North America for down under trainer. Looks like he's trying to make a comeback, showing only three starts all of last year. Looked a bit short to me in qualifier, but was McCarthy's choice.
3 LOVE TAP HANOVER Had Andy Mac chosen this one, I probably would have liked a lot more. He drove gelding in qualifier, and it wasn't a bad one. So, the choice has me a bit stymied. Not sure this one's ready yet.
4 MR EUROMAN N Has now worked his way down the bottom class level, folks. A far cry from that 1:50 dazzler here in the winter. I don't really know what to tell you here. He'll either crush and win easy, or fold up shop again. Not sure.
5 WYNBERG COURAGE N If you wanted to take a swing against the favorite in here, this is a very viable option. Barn has two in here tonight, and they both in the right spot. They should both offer value. Only needs trip to wakeup.
6 DANISHDUJOUR Outraced his odds with a huge try against that big favorite last week. Where did that mile come from? I don't know. He's in for the optional $10K tag here. Will he deliver another big kick? I wish I knew.
7 PANSFORMATIVE Also in for the tag, but also coming off a long layoff. Didn't look all that ready in the qualifier.
8 MANATTACK Up from Rosecroft with a flat-looking record this year. The post position blues continue, so I'm taking the wait and watch one approach. Let's see if he's fast enough for here.
9 BRUCE'S MAGIC Ordinarily, I'd like Bruce in a spot like this, but maybe not tonight. He tends to wake up on class drops like this, but it's still a bad post. Wasn't Andy Mac's choice. Has to send, to have any chance.
