Paddock Park
Everyone knows the most exciting part of the race is in the final home stretch. That's why the lush green of our Paddock Park runs the length of it. Here you'll feel the ground shake beneath your feet as a storm of thundering hooves pound past you. You'll witness the intensity in the driver's faces as they strive to cross the finish line first. Experiencing these powerful moments up close from Paddock Park, you'll feel almost as though you're in the race itself.
Meanwhile, between races, you'll revel in the carnival atmosphere of rides, games and family entertainment held in conjunction with major races and events. Food and beverages of all kinds are available to keep you refreshed. And the next race is always just moments away.
Best of all, you can even share all this excitement with 50 to
1,000 of your closest friends. Host a casual or elegant outdoor party under one of our lively tents right in Paddock Park. For more information on private parties,

Backstretch
On the backstretch is the administration building, which includes the offices of the racing secretary, stewards, licensing department, backstretch security force and track kitchen. It is also the site of the Emergency Equine Surgery building, recreation hall, program print shop, track maintenance building, and tack shops.
Matrix Board
You won't miss a moment of racing with this state-of-the-art 49" x 19" Daktronics video board that was installed in the infield in September 2000.
Designed to give guests a better view of races and wagering information, the video board offers five camera angles of each race simultaneously, along with the odds and exacta pools for each horse. The $2.5 million project also included a new digital control room and editing facility used to operate the new board, and serve a variety of Meadowlands television productions.
