5-Magic Tricks – Paced a :56.1 back half trying to close from last, may be better making his third start off a sick scratch, able to stalk from a midpack post this time

2-Fraternity – 10-time winner with a mark of 1:52 here in 2016 has gotten sharper in his last three for this price, a beaten favorite was dead game first over & right there in the photo with Alex Bullville & Restless last week

8-Alex Bullville – Dropped to this level, fired out & drove hard up the pylons to score the upset & overdue win, likely makes a similar attempt from the same post

9-Nowucit Nowudont – Classy, relentless gelding draws post nine again off two straight close seconds on Lasix & has been more sure-footed with the addition of trotting hopples

1-Winemaster Hanover – Parlayed a perfect drive into a narrow decision over Nowucit Nowudont & claimed again, moves inside fresh & sharp with a nose for the winners circle

2-Never Ever Clever – Twice beaten favorite makes her third start off a sick scratch, has tumbled down the class ladder, a well beaten third behind Winemaster Hanover last week, gets post two again

9-Eyeseenow – Gelding has come around with two solid seconds, just missed the upset last out, tough draw, but may be on the verge

2-Threeupthreedown – New Richie Johnson acquisition qualified in hand with Lasix added, Muscle Hill 4YO draws well with some obvious upside

6-Virgil Caine – Just one for 20 in 2016, yet gearing up on a Lasix driven comeback trail, hitting the board in his last two against N/W of 2

8-That’s My Opinion – Has always hinted of major talent, has missed a couple of weeks, but changes barns, drops to rock bottom & certainly knows his way around this oval

10-My Spirit Soars – Dropped to this lowest rung, set a rated pace & came up a length shy as the beaten favorite from the rail, nice rally to hit the board from post ten before that

3-Daylyn Horizon – Makes his second start off a sick scratch, gets a barn change & draws well in a wide-open affair

3-Shoreview – Needed his last two, just missed to the longshot Baggage Claim with an aggressive effort, draws well in a prime scenario

4-Dash Of Danger – Romped in his first two starts for Team Burke off a sick scratch, didn’t have the same pop in his last two, yet has a chance to reignite his form

5-Pickwick – Beaten favorite was a much better third last week after the debacle on 1-7, his post ten blowout on 12-31 showed some talent for his raging barn

6-Hillbilly Hanover – Gelding used some recent class relief to spark his winning form, steamrolled first over to outmuscle the favorite Ontario Success last week

5-Durant – Sharp claim by Team Foster has suddenly reeled off two down-the-road blowouts, may be tough to overhaul if he’s able to gain control again

1-Ontario Success – Burke trainee turned his game around with a wire-to-wire from post seven on New Year’s Eve, just missed on the engine last week & moves inside razor sharp

5-Dr C’s Z Tam – 11YO warhorse has cycled forward, hit the board in his last three, just missed with a gutsy effort last week

4-Jackson Brady – Squeezed off the cones, had open road & got rough in deep stretch last week, this gelding is on a long form spree & draws a bit better

9-Major Bubbles N – Not often a 7YO equals his lifetime mark over an off track in 30-degree weather, tough to dismiss despite post nine

4-True Blue Hall – Took a mark of 1:49.1 here last July at this level & was strong in the win column in 2016, drops to face a field of question marks, draws inside & looms as a price play

2-Blatantly Best – Classy Remmen trainee ran into the raging Jacksrluckytoo last week, draws well again to work out another smooth trip in a wide-open field

7-Spicebomb – Paced a pretty strong back half to grab a minor piece last week, remains at this reduced level & owns the speed to kick past a suspect field

4-Dancingwithdelight – Dropped to this price & was a much better second to the decisive Le Gambe last week, put back-to-back wins together @ The Meadows last month for Team Burke

1-Viceroy Hanover – Launched a menacing move & was cut off by chain reaction interference last week, now moves inside & can push off to sit a trip

6-Mister Travel – Regained his confidence with a whopping 18-length win @ Monticello, came back just three days later to hit the ticket here

RACE 10

6-Calvin B – Classy 1:49.2 performer here last season paced a :54.4 back half in a much-needed tightener & drops dangerously

9-Jacksrluckytoo – Finally broke through with one his patented sterling rallies & crushed them a notch below this for the red-hot Harmon outfit, might be the start of a win streak

8-Sassy Hanover – Excellent acclimating mile as runner up to runaway Parnu Hanover two weeks ago, gets some class relief & fires out for a stalking spot

RACE 11

2-Si Semalu – Stormed home for the upset in an eye-catching :26.4 in his Big M debut, too far out of range from post seven last week, draws inside here & more acclimated now

3-Parnu Hanover – Got a little overzealous on the lead over the off track last week, handy winner before that gets post relief & likely the one to knock off

7-Elrama N – Beaten favorite saw his December rampage come to a halt when he faded to fifth last week, looking to rebound from the outside assignment in a competitive field

RACE 12

3-Rock Star – Gets away from the raging Rockin Robert, gelding has been better in his last two, drops a notch & draws inside again to facilitate a stalking trip

1-JJ Shark – Tried to close from a tough spot over the off track while chasing the runaway Jacksrluckytoo, lands the pole again with a chance to trip out within striking distance

10-Real Nice – Classy 12YO was simply too far back chasing some tough customers two weeks ago, tries this reduced level again & can kick home sharply on his best day

RACE 13

3-Tink And Tiger – Recent Michael Russo claim drops to the lowest condition rung, owns a bit of back class, switches to Brett Miller & gets an inside post

2-Lucky Man – 12YO millionaire dropped to this bottom rung & just missed by a nose given a perfect drive by Greg Merton, draws inside again as a big threat

5-Good Day Mate – Just two for 39 last year, but has been hinting on the fringes in his last two at this level, draws better to get away within closer range
