1 MOMS FORTUNE Tough spot for this three year old filly to make her debut. One qualifier so far this year. Let’s see a start and re-evaluate.
2 CRAZY ABOUT PAT Qualified very nicely and defeated Muscle Mountain as well. Barn known for their patience. This colt has talent.
3 AMARCORD Came with his best effort of the year last week. On paper, this field will be more difficult. Continued improvement is needed.
4 LEAVE YOUR MARK Convincing winner last week as a heavily-supported favorite. Has a seasoning edge on his biggest rivals. Chalk.
5 BRISSOT He has not built upon his improved effort from March 14th as of yet. This is the toughest field he has faced as well.
6 JAILHOUSE JUICE Plenty of things to like about his last start. Passed many rivals and finished with a full head of steam. Must be included.
7 KING MUSCLES Colt had to need that first stat back and raced admirably. He figures to be tighter now and I expect improvement here.
8 SIX GUN HALL Has a tendency to go off-stride, so that is a concern. He was just 6/1 against a handful of these last times. Leaning against.
9 BALTIMOR AS Dropping out of the classified races to a level he nearly won at on March 14th. Might go overlooked in this field. Adds value.
10 MUSCLE MOUNTAIN I think Takter has a very intriguing three year old here. Yannick stopping here to drive this one speaks volumes!

H Horse Comment
1 ORDER BY KEEPER Solid qualifier, showing a 27.2 final quarter. If Takter has this colt figured out, add it to the list of his intriguing 3YO’s.
2 BELLA CHIPPIE Exiting a not particularly fast qualifier at Harrah’s Philadelphia. Prior effort was good, but in a 2:04.3 mile. Must go faster.
3 HIGH INTEREST The lengths beaten in that qualifier shouldn’t bother you. Look who the top 2 finishers were. Only 1 lifetime start. Tricky.
4 THE FRANCHISE Exits the qualifier won by ‘Keeper. Only one start as a 2YO as the apparently stopped with him. Might need a start.
5 DUE CALZE Most experienced trotter in the field, but is still searching for her first win. Has been off 3 weeks. Likely needs a start here.
6 IL PIZZAIOLO See how Leave Your Mark did in the first. This is a drop in class and this colt’s second race back. Some interesting angles.
7 THE SPECIAL ONE Gelding did not show the improvement you like to see from start one to start two. This field is likely even tougher.
8 SECRET INGREDIENT This horse was second in the ONSS Gold Final last year, so there is talent. Has 2 qualifiers. Very interesting.
9 DOC BOYCE That was not an easy spot for this 3YO filly in her debut and she raced admirably. The only question is the post. Contender.
3 Third Race Entries
Picks: 2-6-4-1
H Horse Comment
1 IF I DIDN’T CARE This field came up more like a B-2 than a C-1, so she is right back in at the same level. One of many contenders.
2 MISS SAND CREEK Exits a good race where she set the pace. She didn’t exactly tire late either. That was a good mile. Major player.
3 JOANNIEHASAFANNY She was a winner at the C-2 level, but appears to have found this level a bit too tough. She requires improvement.
4 GORDYS FILLY YENTA Threw in a clunker last time, but we all know she is plenty capable at this level. Bounce back candidate.
5 DRAGON PRINCESS Good to see her finishing her miles in under :28. She was too far back last time. Sneaky exotics player in here.
6 CHEYENNE PATTI Good effort last time behind a very sharp winner. Surick has this mare sharp and she will be a handful once again.
7 BIJOU THEATER Nice rally to win against softer. She is facing a tougher than usual C-1 event. She will need even more this time.
4 Fourth Race Entries
Picks: 5-2-6-9
H Horse Comment
1 SOME KINDA SPUNKY Outraced his odds when last seen in a C-2 event here. Exits a series of amateur races. Perhaps a minor award.
2 JULIA’S WAY Winner of last came back to win the C-2 Final last week. Seems to be in solid form and is a logical contender in here.
3 NEW YORKS FINEST He can race with these, but he also has a tendency to make a break. Not exiting the strongest of heats.
4 ORDER BY CORLEONE Comes out of the same race as ‘Finest. I don’t think that race was very strong, so I am a little skeptical here.
5 PAISLEY Very tough trip against a sharp mare last time. I expect to see speed and he will likely prove very difficult to catch this time.
6 HEIDI FALLS Interesting driver change to Pierce here. Gets a better post this time. It’s not impossible for him to trip out here and rally.
7 IMA QUE T Making his second start off the layoff, so it is reasonable to expect some improvement here. Still watching this start, though.
8 TIGER’S TOO GOOD I liked him last week, but this race is tougher than the one he scratched out of. Dave Miller opted off as well.
9 DREAM KID Not a bad effort last time and he certainly has a right to build on that. Relegating to underneath on my tickets.
10 BROADWAYS FORTUNE Mare has a tendency to break and her last qualifier didn’t impress me enough to warrant consideration.
5 Fifth Race Entries
Picks: 7-6-5-2
H Horse Comment
1 MOJARRA HANOVER She is coming off an injured scratch (see layoff report), but gets some class relief. This field is tougher, though.
2 RUB THING She has had success here before and she is exiting some good races at Yonkers as well. Might go overlooked in here.
3 DE VINS GIRL Not a bad effort last time, and it is probably unfair to call her a longshot in here. Nice price in a wide open race.
4 SISSY BAR Canadian invader is a wild card. I like that she shipped and didn’t miss a week. Coming out of some solid races in Canada.
5 CLEAR VIEW HANOVER Got on track just a touch too late. She was favored there and she deserves that role here. Passes many late.
6 LOVE YOU BYE Involved in that three horse photo last week. This mare isn’t winning many races, but she is always in the mix.
7 RADAR CONTACT She faced the boys last time, make sure that isn’t overlooked. There is plenty of back class here. Very interesting.
6 Sixth Race Entries
Picks: 5-3-4-6
H Horse Comment
1 CELTIC MERCHANT Back to back wins is a good start in a very tough field. This is tougher than a $20k claimer. Must stay sharp.
2 ANOTHER AMARETTO Connections are high on him as he is nominated to the FFA Championship. Let’s see a start first.
3 WINDSUN GALAXIE He just ran into a monster mile last week, so don’t be too hard on him. This is a softer spot. He should be tough.
4 MELADY’S MONET Surprised he has gone off at such good value the last 2 weeks. He is still in good form and fill this is within reach.
5 NOBLE WARRAWEE Exits the same races as several others in here and raced well. Any improvement makes him extremely tough.
6 CAMERON CHIP I like the way she rallied up the pylons last time, as she was finishing strongly. Still, she is best used underneath here.
7 VAPORTSTAR Was parked out for the opening 3/8th’s of a mile last week and got tired. Gets a hot driver tonight and might be overlooked.
8 ALL MUNKY BUSINESS Gets some class relief, but catches the worst of the post draw. She will likely be coming from last.
7 Seventh Race Entries
Picks: 9-4-2-3
H Horse Comment
1 LADY’S ART Saw her form head in the wrong direction at Yonkers and she scratched out of Leg 1. She will need to turn things around.
2 WINBAK SPEEDI Tough post last week and this mare was finishing up with some pace. Moves inside and might be able to earn a share.
3 ARTIE’S LAST PARTY Good try against the favorite last time. The issue is, she has to make up 4 lengths on that foe. Exotics player.
4 BUBBY JO First over is not her game, but she put up a good effort. Any kind of trip will bring her closer to the chalk. Second best.
5 ZIP IT LOCK IT Not a bad job of keeping up and earning a minor award last week. From this post, a similar result is possible.
6 PERSUASIVE HANOVER Sat in and towed along to earn the nickel last week. She might catch some cover from here. Fringe player.
7 DONNA PARTY Sat second over, but did not over any pop off that cover. She will need to improve tonight to contend for a share.
8 LIZ’S LIL K K Never really got involved last time. It was her first start in three weeks, so I expect she can improve here. Use underneath.
9 DAY BLUE CHIP Mare looks awfully tough in this series as she was a dominant winner last week. She needs to regress to get beat.
10 ABROKENART HANOVER Was not a factor in Round 1 and from this post without any early speed, I fear a similar fate now.
8 Eigth Race Entries
Picks: 2-9-6-4
H Horse Comment
1 MISS CONNOR Made up considerable ground given that she broke before the start. If she stays trotting, she can earn a share of this.
2 HELIOS That was a good tightener for him and he caught a very good horse, too. Figures to only be better this time around. Major factor.
3 BLOMKVIST Moves up off a solid effort in the C-2 Final, but he couldn’t catch the mare to his outside. Must step it up to win this.
4 RINGSIDE LAURYN Back to back wins in that mini-series. It is worth noting that prior to those efforts, this level appeared too much.
5 FOOL’S REVENUE Has missed a month (see layoff report). Does show a win at this level and that was off an 11 month layoff.
6 OUTLAW Callahan sticks here over Ringside Lauryn, so that is a vote of confidence. Must stay trotting, but should get a trip from here.
7 IN FOCUS Made a break last time which is a concern. Catches another good group, so he needs to be on his best behavior tonight.
8 PILATUS Enters this off a nice win, but was not Campbell’s choice. Worth noting that this gelding raced well at this level recently.
9 B L CLASS ACT Just could not get close enough to the winner last time. Still, this is Campbell’s choice of four. Worth a look at a price.
10 FOX VALLEY SMARTY Recent form isn’t bad, but he is going to have to use all his speed to get away from this post. Tricky proposition.
9 Ninth Race Entries
Picks: 5-9-3-8

1 SHAYNA BABY One of these nights, she is going to improve. We have seen it before. I will be watching very closely for improvement.
2 ARIANE HANOVER Back to back wins at Freehold has her in solid form for another shot here. Looms a contender off her last pair.
3 KIMMY Continues to race very well and the move to Campbell here is an interesting one. No reason to expect any steps backward.
4 SOUTHWIND LAVANDA Exiting a race that was a bit softer than this, so stepping back up to this level seems like a tall order.
5 I DO IT MYSELF Nothing wrong with her most recent try from post 10. Now has an ideal draw and should be a factor from start to finish.
6 NUTMEGS YANKEE She was just even last time, although I do like that she finished in under :28. Now she gets some class relief, too.
7 SADIES PLACE She exits the same race as ‘Yankee, but was not much of a factor. She remains a longshot despite the class drop.
8 DREAM’S BAR Another dropping out of that C-1/B-2 handicap and was not a factor there. Still, she has raced well against better than this.
9 RUNAWAY TRAY I liked the speed she showed last time and that was not a bad mile by any means. Merits serious consideration.
10 Tenth Race Entries
Picks: 6-7-8-5
H Horse Comment
1 STARGLOW HALL Made a break off the gate last time. The move inside actually concerns me as Meittinis will need to be aggressive.
2 O DANA O Broke through with a win, but I do believe that was a softer field. She comes right back at the same level, but this is tougher.
3 KENDALL BLUE Mare went some good miles in a series at Tioga last year. The break last time concerns me. Gets some class relief.
4 ABBY Mare really seems to be responding to the move to the new barn. It’s hard to stack that last race up against this field. Wild card.
5 IDEAL REVENUE Another coming off a break, but I like the fact that he gets away from the inside slot. I expect a better effort here.
6 FROM ABOVE Fell back into a mistake last time. Now he drops in class and if he stays trotting, I think this is the horse to beat.
7 SPECTATOR K If From Above is the horse to beat, this is the horse he’ll have to catch. Drops in class and will be on the lead early.
8 BUZZ BOMB Seems to have fallen into a good race/ bad race patter. Added Lasix last time as well. Figures to be better in here.
9 NO FROSTING Making his second start back off the layoff and was not Callahan’s choice. I will watch this time and tab for later.
11 Eleventh Race Entries
Picks: 1-6-5-7
H Horse Comment
1 GUCCIO I believe this is the horse to watch in this division this year. Looked more relaxed, bigger and stronger qualifying. All systems go.
2 BEATGOESON HANOVER Mare has done a good job picking up checks in some tough spots. With this lineup, things are even tougher.
3 AFFIRMED ACTION He was racing well at Yonkers, but this is a whole new ballgame. I can’t be sure that he is up to this caliber field.
4 OPENING NIGHT Good effort to push Sevruga all the way to the wire. This field is loaded though and he will need to be even better!
5 WISHING STONE He is the wild card to this division. Moved to a new barn and has a ton of talent. A very intriguing prospect this year.
6 ICE MACHINE Just never got in the race last time. He is best when utilizing his early speed. He must step things up in this group.
7 ARCH MADNESS Likely to go past $4 Million this year. His qualifiers were decent, but remember this is start #1 to a long campaign.
12 Twelfth Race Entries
Picks: 7-1-2-4
H Horse Comment
1 TEMPLE OF DOOM Just ran out of steam last time and now he is in even tougher. He is likely to get better and better. He’s a player.
2 SOLVATO Exchanged winning qualifiers with Little Brown Fox so that is saying something. Appears ready to go. Major contender.
3 IN NOMINE PATRI Got a perfect trip to steal a victory last week. This field, though shorter, is much tougher. Will need to trot 1:53.
4 LEXIS AMIGO Recent form is decent and he ran into a monster mile last week. The problem here is this race won’t go much slower.
5 WHEELS Form has been hit or miss lately. Will need to find a live outer flow to hope to pass a few and pick up a check.
6 TOBER This is a nice horse, but he catches a good field off a layoff and was not Pierce’s choice. I will watch his first start.
7 HARBOR POINT I think he was a winner last week if he doesn’t go off-stride. Assuming he trots, he is the one to beat in this field.
13 Thirteenth Race Entries
Picks: 4-8-6-1
H Horse Comment
1 AFTER ALIMONY Shows two good miles in Philly to start her career. Catches a top heavy field, but she is a part of the talent. Player.
2 RAG DOLL Making just her second lifetime start and she enters this off a 9 month layoff and one qualifier. I will need to watch this one.
3 FIT TO FRAME Coming off an identical layoff to Rag Doll, in fact they exit the same race. She does have 2 qualifiers under her belt.
4 ANTIGUA HANOVER Winner of that last division of the Weiss is a very nice filly. Now in her 3rd start back, she will make some noise here.
5 HERE AGAIN Recent form is OK, but she is going to need to step it up to contend for the win. I will be including underneath again.
6 MS CAILA J FRA Went from 2-1 to 27-1, talk about value. The filly she beat at 1-5 is right back in against her. One of the main players.
7 ROCKNROLL RHAPSODY Not a bad first start back off the freshening. That said, she is going to have to improve to contend in here.
8 JK LETITGO Beaten at 1-5 last time. She won’t be 1-5 in here, but she will still be favored. She is a prime contender, but not a lock.
9 SOLID QUEEN Was not as effective last time and I think she is in line for a similar trip and result here. Will need more to win this.
10 MC CILLACUDY-HENRY Draws the outside without much early speed and her recent form has not been sharp. Still a longshot.
