H Horse Comment
1 GOLD MEDAL SWAN Always a little "tough" to handicap, because he's somewhat inconsistent. However, on his good days, he can more than go with these. The post relief should help. Expect him to be in a close stalking spot. Watch.
2 SANTINI Not really sure what to do with this 4YO. Just 1-19 last year. Buried in some tough spots lately on the half mile tracks. I'll note that he took his mark on the big oval up at Mohawk as a 2YO. Just has to go a little faster.
3 KEENAN Another fringe player in here, now at the age of 10. I just wonder if he can still go mile track times? Those freehold 2:00 miles won't cut it here. A big question mark, having to go 1:56 or so in a race like this.
4 DANISH DURANGO Yes, he disappointed with that rare miscue last time, but I'll be kind and forgive that, as he was rushed out of the gate. This spot doesn't require that. Hechkoff just needs to be a little patient, and they can win.
5 HERE COMES NUMBERS No patience needed here, as speed is this gelding's best weapon. It will likely be right to the front and roll! Sometimes, he gets brave and digs in. Sometimes, he gets tired. Which will it be? I wish I knew.
6 PARTY ON THE RIVER A little bit of a mystery lately, as it does seem he's tailed off a bit. Roy stays loyal to the barn, opting over #1, but it is going to take more than we've seen over past few races. Turnaround is possible.
7 STAR STUDDED CAST Still suffering a good case of the bad post blues! It does catch up to you after a while. Overcame it once with some good speed, but this is no easy speed spot, with likes of #5 inside. Tough call.
8 HOT SUMMER KNIGHT Seems to race very well every time he's at bottom level. This is equal to that. Harmon hasn't much luck driving lately, so he's overdue for a bit of a good break. At least gelding is versatile, to give him options.
9 URIEL Had a tough trip last time, and just about figures to have a tough trip from this slot. I don't see how it's going to work out well from a post like this, but I've been wrong before. It'll be up to Annie to find a way into it.
10 LANDONFITZ Mysteriously went inside the pylons to cause last DQ. Now, it's post 10. That's a pass for me.

H Horse Comment
1 OPULENT YANKEE Speed master has been MIA for a long time now, so that IS a big concern. Yes, he's got a betting partner here, so it probably doesn't matter. They're both good enough to win this, provided they're ready to roll.
1A GURAL HANOVER Simply put, that was a spectacular qualifier! He was very good. So, I'll assume the couple month freshening did him a LOT of good. No luck at the post draw here, as partners start from 6 and 7. If ready, he rolls.
2 GONNA FLY Interesting invader from Yonkers, coming off a scratch. Looks like he got good over there and worked way right up the class ladder. I'm anxious to see what he can do here. I fear, that he may be overmatched.
3 ROSSINI Speaking of overmatched, that's probably the case for this guy. Yes, he's good right now, but I don't think he's "Preferred" good. Will have to prove me wrong, if he can.
4 FASHION CREDITOR First start back off the layoff and two qualifiers. The last one was pretty good, but he's forced to start back at this very high level. That's almost not fair, but so be it. I'll pass and watch one. Will be ready soon.
5 LMC MASS GEM Good-looking gelding ships up the Turnpike for DD, and I just have a feeling he wants to try this guy on the mile track. Dover will close soon, and he might be a "half mile" horse, so we'll find out if good enough here.
6 MELADY'S MONET The final piece of the puzzle here. Monet races well everywhere he goes, so don't worry about mile track. He drew inside the entrymates, so may have to use that speed early. They're both going to fire out.

H Horse Comment
1 LDEES MIA For what it's worth, let's just give her a pass for that unfortunate miscue in the debut. Just forget about it, because she's much better than that. I expect a BIG bounce back here, and if the trip is right, she can win.
2 HOLY BONES Took one shot for Team Miller and that didn't work out. New barn now. A "project horse" for sure.
3 ALDEBARAN EUREKA I'm not really on board this guy's boat just yet. Hasn't shown me a whole lot of speed in any of the appearances, so I will wait. Until I see some, he's a pass.
4 LADY RAM Basically just "towed" last time, but when Flamingo Pete is sprinting away from you, I do wonder how good you are! With that said, I'd need to see a whole lot more from her, before I would bet. Let's see it, please.
5 FORTUNES ONE Regressed into another miscue last time, so he's hard to endorse at this point. Not for me.
6 COACH CUMMINGS Off since September, and showing one slowish qualifier, so he's not ready for this yet.
7 PRESIDENT ZETTE Gets tabbed as morning line favorite, almost by default! His lines look a lot better than most of these, but I'm not telling you he "has" to win. Nap back in the seat, and will try to "motivate" horse to a rally.
8 BREAK FREE Admittedly not one of my favorites, and he also "towed" along in same race as #4 last time. They both weren't very good. Gets stuck with a bad post here, so maybe Brett will go back to the speed. Why not? Take a shot.
9 MASTER OF THE HILL I thought he had a shot last time and I was wrong. Horse backed up and broke. Not sure what to expect off that, and I haven't even mentioned the post yet. Would need a big reversal of form.
10 ACTIVIST This is probably the key to the race! Been in Camp Miller for a while now. That comeback qualifier was better than most of these can race. I know it's post 10, but if he trots, he can probably win this. Your call?
4 Fourth Race Entries

1 CLASSY CHRIS Back to NJ from a disastrous trip to Canada for a series. Ouch! She's been off since Feb. 2, so that's a problem. I have a feeling she's going to need a race or two back here before we see best.
2 PSYCHO CINDY That isn't a bad looking qualifier, but I didn't see it, of course. Down at home base of Rosecroft. Didn't show much in that one try here, and this is actually a tougher spot. I guess I'd need to see more first.
3 CLASSY CHAPEL N Hasn't raced since Feb. 5, due to cancel, scratch, etc. Will she be ready? I almost always have to say no, but with this barn, I hesitate to toss her out. Good inside post Let's see if she's a mile track horse.
4 BRUNHILDA Gave it a pretty good speed try last time, vs. #10. Gets the post edge again, so there's no reason to change up the strategy. Expect Nap to send her, and she could go a long way. Only needs a bit more stamina.
5 SUNDAY AFTERNOON Another Yonkers shipper with some mixed form on view. Look who co-owns her! Luc! Won a race on big track up at Woodbine last year, so she must be okay on mile track..Let's see if she's fast enough.
6 WILD NITE TINA Absolutely had to need that last one, as was case for all this barn's starters. With that said, I think she's going to need at least one more. I'm willing to wait.
7 ROCKIN PRALINE The "mystery" horse in here for Surick. I don't reallly know how that Open level race in Chicago stacks up against a field like this. But, I will tell you that Andy had opted off her last week, and does same here.
8 MACHING ME ZILLY She figured to need that first start back and had little from the outer flow. Stuck in bad post once again, but Yannick does take back over. She could be a little tighter. And better. Your call, folks?
9 PETAL TO THE METAL We all know her game and she will be coming from last in here. That's not for me. Trainer: Trained good this week, hoping for some early speed in the race.
10 JULIO'S GIRL Shipped in and showed up ready for Big M debut! That was super solid mile. Yes, the trip was good, but she was visually impressive too! Will be firing out again, and will be hard to beat if that good again.

1 NEW YORK ATTITUDE Not a whole lot going on in this corner, so I will pass once again. Not my type.
2 PILGRIMS TIDE Had a very good start with Marcus two back against better, so let's expect a little more out of this fella tonight. I like the post. I like potential for smooth journey here. He might kick home with a burst.
3 SEVENTEEN TABS Looks like a "project" horse for new owner, trainer and reiner, Mr. Rucker. He's definitely got his work cut out for him, but let's start by seeing if he can trot. Let's get a flat mile into tonight.
4 ROSE RUN QUICKLEY It's taking the 6YO a while to get back into racing shape. It'll come, but perhaps not just yet. That last one was a little dull from the cover flow. Should be a touch closer, so let's see if there's more in the tank.
5 WONDER BUNS Got shuffled a bit last time, but did have some trot at the end. Driver under intense pressure here, steering for the Mrs. The post is perfect tonight, and it might be time to see the speed again. The one to beat.
6 MISTRESS VALENTINE Looked like the one to beat last time, and simply got run over on the sloppy track. Okay. The trip could be a lot different now, and so could the result. Has to pay off on that claim one of these nights.
7 BELL A CHICK It might be time to take a shot with this fella tonight. Slow starts on off tracks last two, so just forget about those. Remember, he was running them over when third. It's all about pace and trip. If flow is right, watch out.
8 TEASIN N PLEASIN Suffering a terrible case of the bad post blues. Had a much better spot when we canceled last week. Of course! Now, it's back to post eight. I don't envision her outkicking the likes of #7. Just my opinion.
9 MARION GONDOLIER Still looking like a big longshot, especially from an outside post like this. Not my type.
10 CAPER K COURT Where's she going from post 10? The answer is probably not very far. Big price longshot in pp10.
6 Sixth Race Entries

H Horse Comment
1 ROCKIN REDFORD Yes, that's a LOT of money he's burned over the past month or so. Had a NO chance trip against front-running Fiji last time, so let's not be too hard on him. Roy always fits him well. Pole post. Has a chance.
2 ASHES CASH Of all his recent races, that last one was the most disappointing. But, there's no My Cherry Pie in here, so we have to figure he's got a better chance. It's all about pace and trip. Owns that one move and will be charging.
3 SWISS PLATINUM Is he ready yet? That is the question. Had a comeback qualifier. Had a first real race over the track against better. Gets a touch of class relief, like few others in here. Will need a big one, but it will be coming soon.
4 CASINO CUTIE IT Been giving hints about a return to form. Until last time, when she regressed into a break. That's not good, so I will probably pass on her for now. I need to see a good one, before I can endorse.
5 LIMERENCE Freshened up by Garland and Smith. That was a fairly decent qualifier last time, albeit in slow time. I'll note that horse basically "inherited" that win. I do think he's going to need a race or two, before we see best.
6 GWALLY Very tough call here! Because horse has gone some big miles in the distant past here. BUT, he's had NO trot in any of the three starts here. This is a drop, so that could spur a wakeup call. But, we have to guess.
7 BOOTSWITHTHEFUR Was entered at Monti on Wednesday, which is after this deadline, so I'll assume he didn't race. In for the tag here, so that's why he's eligible. It's not a bad spot. Likely to be rallying so it's all about the trip.
8 AMELIOSI Speaking of good spots, this looks like one. Dover invader This mare appears to be a pretty good horse, based on record and money earned. She's ramping back into shape and this is the right race for her. Hop on!
9 TROUBLE RIEU N This is probably NOT the right spot for this guy, and he seems to be tailing off anyway. Stuck outside and looking like a longshot.
7 Seventh Race Entries
Picks: 10-3-6-1
H Horse Comment
1 PHYLLIS JEAN Yes, she had a great win in a race where she was supposed to win. Odds of 3-5. Oh well. Now, it's back up in class, and this is a field of killers. Figures to show speed, but I don't know if she can repeat. At a price only.
2 FAMILY ROLL CALL Missed her scheduled comebacker with the cancellation last week. No worries. She's going to need this race anyway. Just one lonely win last year, so I will pass on her, and watch for future consideration.
3 OK HEAVENLY Seems long overdue to get lucky and win one of these. She's worked her way steadily down the class ladder and gets a key inside post. Might be the biggest threat to Monica, who is ragingly good right now.
4 MISQUED It's tough to get a real read on her current form. We all know she's a one-way closer, so things have to work out just right and this does NOT look like the spot for her. I think these are too tough for her at moment.
5 PERPLEXED Like #2, she's on the comeback trail. Had one race over the track and I think she'll need another. Trainer: Weather affecting preparation, probably still a run short.
6 LADY OF HEAVEN Definitely a factor in here, provided she can get some sort of decent trip in the flow. It's all about how quickly Monica gets to the lead in here. This mare's good enough, provided she can get close enough.
7 CHILLED DESIRE A New barn here! Must be a private purchase. This is a good mare too! She's got speed, and could provide a little mayhem if Brett decides to send. That could be key to the race. She can go on mile track too!
8 KNOW IT ALL Ordinarily, I would say this is a decent spot for a mare like this. But, this isn't. This is a very good field. I know she's dropping, but I don't really like this spot, or this post. Might have to wait for softer situation.
9 KEYSTONE RIPTIDE Another of the many possibilities in this race. She's VERY good right now, and battled bravely again last time, from a similar tough post. Part of the pace scenario at the very least. Will need a decent trip.
10 MONICA GALLAGHER That was a MONSTER win last time, on that snow night, over Shartin, who came right back to win the OPEN at Dover. Monica has been great for a long time now. But, it's always difficult from post 10. Short price.

1 CAN DO Moves back to an inside post, which immediate raises his profile. He's got that good speed and A Nap back in the seat. He gets along with this horse, so if you're searching for a live longshot, this could be it. Expect big mile.
2 SODA PUMP In for the tag here, making second Big M start. Wasn't good enough in first try. Needs a lot more.
3 IRON MINE JOHNNY One of the very sharp horses, in this hard-to-handicap race. Johnny gets a key inside post, so that IS going to help. He packs one giant move, be it early or late. Would be very hard to leave out now.
4 DW'S REVENGE Was absolutely vicious with that sweep last time. I guess he IS that good! This is perfect spot to come right back in, and Yannick gets back in the seat. He's the one to beat, but don't expect much of a price.
5 MONTALBANO BI This is very interesting spot for The Bi. Most likely, he gets to follow #4, and that would likely be very live cover. We know he can finish as good as anyone. Should be an interesting sprint home tonight.
6 SCIROCCO JAKOB Like #3,4, Jakob is VERY good right now! I mean very good! Marcus chose him again, and I do wonder what the strategy will be. Since #4,5 are closers, I imagine he's going to send! Will go a LONG way.
7 P L ICABOD The outside post gave him no chance last time, and I almost wonder if it's the same here. Unless he leaves, I certainly don't see him outkicking the likes of #4,5. It's a tough spot, but horse has been good for long time.
8 MY CHERRY PIE I guess this is the real tester tonight. Yes, she was supposed to beat that last bunch and she did. Now, it's an outside post, a much tougher field, and a new driver. Demand fair value, if you fancy her chances.
9 KEEGAN HO Simply put, these are a little too tough for him, plus the post is a killer. Wait for the class drop.
10 DOUBLE L LINDY Very talented trotter here, but for tonight's betting purposes, he's not ready for this. Only one qualifier, and it was back on Feb. 9. Why the gap? He's not ready for this yet....
9 Ninth Race Entries

1 PURITY Seems to be getting good again, so that speed from the rail always makes her dangerous. I know it's a bump up in class, but on her best day, she can go with these. Plus, the power is on outside. In line for good trip here.
2 NOT BEFORE EIGHT Absolutely had to need that last one, after the missed time due to quarantine. She just looked a little bit short. With that said, she could be a lot more live here. Nap chose her over #3. Interesting longshot.
3 QUEEN KENDALL Not sure this is the right spot for her. Looks a little overmatched with this grouping.
4 UNBEAMLIEVEABLE Flashed some nice speed upon arrival and then got a little tired chasing that big favorite last time. With that said, this field is no picnic either. I don't think she's as good as these, but I've been wrong before.
5 MYLITTLESURFERGIRL Finds her way back to Club Med from Yonkers. Seems to be on the slow and steady comeback trail, but I do believe these are a tad too tough for her. We'll see.
6 DONNA'S BEACH Making third start for new barn. Had a tough trip in that last one at Freehold. Showed pretty solid form down south last year, including a few fast wins. Is she a mile track horse? I guess we're going to find out.
7 WHISKERSONKITTENS That last one showed she's ready to return to top form. Barn has been going well. Mare gets another touch of class relief. She has a bit of post edge on #8,9. I think she's the one to beat in this spot.
8 BLUSH HANOVER Boy, she squandered a golden opportunity last time. Brett has put a couple of perfect trips on her, and mare hasn't been able to get job done. Doesn't figure to be a big price in here. I will swing against from this post.
9 CHEYENNE TRIENGEL Just toss that last start, as she probably didn't belong in that tougher field. This is where she belongs, but what about post nine? Marcus will have to send her a little, if she can, just to have a chance. Upsetter? Trainer: A little disappointing last start. Had a good week and trained well.
10 SAGE N Got a little lucky last time for the well-meant win, but this is brand new ballgame now. Overmatched.

1 NOBLE PRIZE Don't be too hard on him for that snow night. In fact, just forget about it. Prior win was a snoozefest against a weak bunch. I guess this is the test tonight. There are a few good foes in here. Still, the one to beat.
1A JANDERSON Hasn't won a race in a long time, but I feel she's okay in a spot like this. That was a VERY good qualifier, showing me that she fits on the mile track. I'll probably prefer the partner for tonight, but if ya bet, ya get both!
2 MY WHIRLY GIRL Came to a stop off that long layoff. I wouldn't exactly call that a good stamina builder. With that said, I'd like to watch another and see if she goes any better.
3 PRICELESSPOSSESION Outraced her odds last time, so don't expect the 54-1 tonight. I'm not sure she can beat the entry, but I do expect her to be right there again from a nice, inside post. Sits, saves and tries to rally late. Trainer: Very pleased with 2018 debut, and had a good week training wise.
4 TOUR DE LINDY That was a very stout rally at very long odds in the comebacker. So, I'll credit barn for having him ready to roll. What will we get tonight? More? He's a big threat to the fave if he comes to play with another big one.
5 CHAPTER TOO Freshened up for new barn. Came back with okay qualifier, but it did leave me feeling like she might need another. I'm willing to wait, so I'll watch for now and evaluate for future consideration.
6 IRON DOME The Dome is probably the key to the race! Since he gets stuck with an outside post vs. the faves, he has to leave a little. That's not his best weapon, but he won't be winning coming from the back of the pack.
7 ANNAPOLIS HALL Had two qualifiers, but I think we can safely say he's not quite ready for this test yet. Pass.
8 MISS RUBY Slowly working her way back into shape, and she's ruined by this post tonight. Another pass.
9 NO EXCUSES Looks like a big longshot again, getting worst post after a race she had to need. Needs another.
11 Eleventh Race Entries

1 BRANDOS MUSCLE MAN Finds his way back to the mile track from New York,. I hesitate to toss anything from this barn right now. Brando is just a pro racehorse that can deliver anywhere. Very usable at a price from the pole.
2 MR LOVER Been towing along of late, but not as a serious win threat. Same thing here. A longshot.
3 STARSABOVEALLERAGE This gelding has turned in a few good efforts here in the past. He's usually best as a one-run kind of closer. The post is ideal and we'll see if the freshening has done him any good. A possible upsetter.
4 VIC'S ROYAL LADY Newcomer to Team Harris. This is exactly the kind of horse he excels with too! I don't like the missed time, but I would take a real long look at him on the track. Might be perfect fit here. If not now, next week?
5 BIG BILL BREEZE This definitely looks like a "go" spot for this fella. He's worked his way back down in class. It's an ideal midpack post. He does have speed if Patrick wants to use it. Don't be surprised by big try here tonight. Trainer: Off two weeks sick, but is acting better and trained well. Hopefully, he bounces back.
6 MASSACAIA I do not think this is the right spot for this guy, having missed too much time now. A pass for me.
7 STITCH IN TIME On best day, he's more than good enough to beat these, but I will say he usually needs a smooth kind of trip to do so. Drew a difficult post here, so Jimmy P may have to use him early. Won't offer much value too!
8 TWO HIP DIP This was Brett Miller's choice over #7. That surprised me a bit, but he has gotten along with this trotter before. It's ALL about pace and trip for him and I just don't think he'll be close enough to deliver the goods.
9 GONEINAPUFFOFSMOKE Retains longshot status, having drawn a very difficult post. Looks like a pass to me.
10 CAULFIELD The key to the race, folks! Since he gets stuck with the worst post, Jimmy will have to leave with him again. This is the bottom level where he's supposed to do some good. Not sure I want that short price again, though.
12 Twelfth Race Entries

1 OSVALDO BLUE CHIP Set a very fast pace on that sloppy track last time. It was his first start on Lasix too! If anything, that should tighten him up and we may see totally different trip now. From rail. he can save some of that speed. Trainer: Finally gets an inside post which will help him a lot to get position early. Looking for a good effort.
2 MAJESTIC SUNSET Just forget about that last one, on the snow night. Prior to that, he kicked in nicely to dispatch a weaker bunch. If he continues to round into form, he might have a shot with these. Good post. Sits and stalks.
3 MEADOWBROOK GLIDER Had to need that first one back. If anything, he might need another. Barn has several in tonight, so if they're having a good night, I may change my opinion.
4 THE LAST CHAPTER Pretty good horse last year in some stakes. Cranked out four wins and showed good ability to handle the smaller size tracks. I liked the way he looked in that qualifier. Tells me he's ready for a big track try. Trainer: Trained very good this week after being canceled last Friday. Should be okay.
5 MISSLAROSE She had a really tough trip last time to snap the winning streak. Prior to that, she was looking vicious, with increased confidence. It's back to a field that she can beat. Also has a slight post edge on #6. One to beat.
6 MOONSTAR MISSION Was ridiculously bet off the board last time, and broke. Okay. Forget about that. The track will be fast Friday night, so let's expect him to be better. But, Jimmy will be a little extra careful with him early.
7 TECH TITAN Another with a distant qualifier from Feb. 9. Not sure why the gap, but it does tell me he won't be ready for this tonight. Watch closely for future consideration.
8 NEEDNORESTRICTIONS He flashed some pretty nice speed in that comebacker and then came to a stop. I do believe he'll need another race or two before we see best.

1 WILLIE BOOTS Finally gets a break at the post draw, so that does raise his profile a little. When chalking up those Super Hi 5's, I wouldn't hesitate to include him. Will offer square odds to do so. Sits in and saves ground.
2 INTRIGUED INTENDED Not really sure what to do with this horse, back on the mile track. He's been here before, but recent form isn't exactly dazzling. I have a feeling these might be a little too quick for him right now.
3 ENERGY SHAKES The 12.5's were too tough. This is back to a level where he belongs. Marcus chose him over #1, but that didn't surprise me. I like the post. He'll stalk early and then work his way into the race. Big chance at price. Trainer: He's good right now and hopefully gets a good trip.
4 ROCKNROLL WILDCATS What do we do with this fella? This is final drop to bottom level. It's Yannick and Burke. It's basically a now or never spot for this gelding. He's "supposed" to beat these, but also makes breaks. Short price.
5 ROCKINWITHTHEBEST How good is this horse right now? That IS the question. Brett didn't even drive him at Freehold, but chose him over #6. Big call! That's a big blowout win off the claim. I guess we'll find out how good.
6 DAVID'S DREAM Ordinarily, I would say this is the right spot for Dave. However, he dropped to this level last time and wasn't all that great. I've been wrong on him before, but Brett did opt off. That has to tell us something. Trainer: Trained very well this week and picks up A Nap. Drew a better post and just needs some racing luck.
7 QUALITY BUD Sometimes sneaks into the gimmicks, but it's all about pace and trip for the Bud. Your call?
8 DANISH DILIGENCE Got real lucky last month for that huge upset win. Do I see that coming again? No.
9 LODI MACHETTE MAN Probably the key to this race, but he gets slammed with another brutal post. I loved his speed try against bias on 2/23. Was in too tough last time. This is the right level, but he'll need a little luck too!
10 PREPARTY I thought he had a sniff last time, but was wrong. Very dull effort. Not exactly "rewarded" with post 10, so I'll probably take a pass on the Party tonight.
