1 First Race Entries
Picks: 2-6-5-3
H Horse Comment
1 HARDROCKENJESSICA Beaten quite a ways in that qualifier and her previous efforts at Yonkers were not up to par. Will need more.
2 GAELIC AND GARLIC After his last effort, I am betting this is the spot he wakes up in. Trotter has ability and this class drop should do it.
3 SMUGGLER HALL Makes second start for the new barn and gets on a bigger track for the first time. Some interesting angles here.
4 O DANA O Making her first start off a 28 month layoff. Tightened up in that last qualifier, but I am guessing she has to need a start.
5 HEIDI FALLS Not a bad effort last time, just couldn’t get by the winner. One of the prime players again and I expect speed here.
6 WESTERN CREDIT Showed a good try a few starts back, but the last two have been tough trips. A candidate to improve with a trip.
7 WIGGS Raced a bit better last time and she might continue to improve. That said, this will be tougher than her last few starts.
8 JAILHOUSE ROCKIE Interfered with and forced off-stride last time, so throw that race out. Still out to prove his win was not a fluke.
9 PAPER BACKED LINDY I am sure the sloppy track didn’t help last time. Now drops in class. Has ability, but it’s hard to trust him.
10 CELEBRITY LOVIN Makes her first start back off a four month layoff. Just 1 for 19 last year and has the widest draw. Watching this one.
2 Second Race Entries
Picks: 1-6-8-5
H Horse Comment
1 ZUMBA MOUSE She has gotten on a little roll here, but has she worked up too tough of a level? I think she is fast enough. Value again.
2 LEXIS AMIGO Aggressive steer last time and he raced well on the move up in class. This race is tougher though. Will need even more.
3 DOUBLE UP HANOVER Was not as effective at this level and I have to wonder if it is a little too much. Likely needs an ideal trip.
4 NEIGHSAY HANOVER On his best day, he can absolutely go with these. But, making his first start in 4 months tells me to wait a start.
5 IL MAGO That was an impressive win last week rolling home while first over. The waters get tougher here. Still a contender again.
6 ZUEREST Continues to race well and nearly always offers a good price. That should be the case again. Pace factor at the very least.
7 SPICE IT UP LINDY Just had no chance last time and still came home in 27.2. May have some work to do, but he is plenty fast enough.
8 VAPORSTAR He was favored against similar when he broke. Qualified back just fine and if he trots, he should be a factor in here.
3 Third Race Entries
Picks: 2-7-5-3
H Horse Comment
1 BASTILLE Catches a very tough group here and he will need to improve off his last two starts. Must find his best in this particular group.
2 MUGSHOT JESS He is a sneaky price play in here despite losing Gingras. Made up considerable ground and will be closer here.
3 PHOTO KING Not a bad try last time against a similar bunch and a similar trip would put him in the mix from here. Needs more to win.
4 ICE MACHINE It’s hard to trust him as he broke on the lead turning for home last week. Leaning against until he is more consistent.
5 TALL COTTON Making his first start off a 4 month layoff, but moves to the Burle barn which will attract play. Qualifier looks good as well.
6 THE EVICTOR His best is good enough to win this and his qualifier was fine. Not sure why he took 2 months off though. Tricky call.
7 SEVRUGA He is the class of the field. He had to need that last start as he dug in for all he had to hold on and win. One to beat.
4 Fourth Race Entries
Picks: 1-4-6-9
H Horse Comment
1 DE VINS GIRL She is going to be a wise guy play one again off that last mile. It worked at 8/1 last time. Might just work once again.
2 RAIDERS FAVORITE Came home pretty well last time, but this group is even better. Campbell goes elsewhere as well. Not sold here.
3 LIGHTNING PAIGE Neither of her last two starts at this level indicate that she is a contender at this level. Callahan opts off, too.
4 SIR LB’S Z TAM Although this barn is 2 for 42, it is going very well right now. All Lachance’s horses seem to be finishing. Lots to like.
5 LIZZIE’S DREAM She continues to earn checks and remains a must use in exotics, but a win would still surprise me at this point.
6 CINDEROSA Making her second start back off the layoff and her first start back was a fine one. She should be even better now.
7 PAY TRIBUTE Despite this being Callahan’s choice, any horse that squanders an easy lead from post 1 at Yonkers concerns me.
8 JASPERTHAT A She probably should have won that last start at Saratoga. Note she was well beaten at 49-1 at this level as well.
9 GORDYS FILLY YENTA Gets a touch of class relief again and it is worth noting that she beat similar two starts back. Takes play.
5 Fifth Race Entries
Picks: 2-9-1-3
H Horse Comment
1 PEMBROKE PRAYER He continues to struggle recently. Beaten favorite last time. This field is probably lighter, but expect a minor award.
2 IN NOMINE PATRI His recent class looks tough in this field. I think Hanney will be aggressive in this field and utilize his speed. Player.
3 MYSTICAL CON His last start shows you the difference between C-1 and C-2. The problem now is he moves back up in class. Tricky.
4 SCORPION MOON I have no idea what to do here. Off a lame scratch and two dull efforts. But he gets class relief. Total wild card.
5 CURRENT CRISIS Ditto the comment on Mystical con. Is he improving or was it just the class relief that helped? Another tricky call.
6 JEDRIK HANOVER Tetrick kept him trotting, but he didn’t have much pop. Now Tetrick goes elsewhere. Might earn a minor share now.
7 DONTTELLMYWIFE Gelding has plenty of back class for sure. But he is coming off a break. I want to see how he scores down here.
8 FOUNTAINBLEAU VOLO Miller opted off here which surprised me. On this move down, he figured to be very tough. Mixed feelings now.
9 MELADY’S MONET This mare gets a vote of confidence from The Buckeye following her late rally. We might see speed this time.
6 Sixth Race Entries
Picks: 9-3-5-2

1 ARTSY PRINCESS Gets some class relief here from a Saratoga Open. Had a tough trip there as well. Might just tow along for a piece.
2 DREAM’S BAR She has raced herself into shape and almost stole that last race. Gingras opts to Burke, but she still has a shot in here.
3 RAMALAMA Exits a pretty strong qualifier. See how the other Burke trainee did off the layoff earlier. Mare should still be very tough.
4 SANGAAL It appears that this level is too much for her. Her last start was a tough trip, but two back was no excuse. Will need more.
5 BLACKJACK PRINCESS She is a candidate to improve as she gets a few starts under her belt. I might toss her on my ticket at a price.
6 HULA’S Z TAM She was a little bit better last time and while I am not sure she is ready to jump up and win, I will use her underneath.
7 PEARL HANDLEPISTOL It is tough to ignore this barn, but the Dover shippers have not impressed me for the most part. Watching one.
8 JK FINE ART She has now disappointed in back to back miles as the favorite. She is likely to take money again. Fringe player for me.
9 RAMONA DISOMMA She exploded last week, which is something we have seen before. Despite the move up, I wouldn’t leave her out.
10 MOJARRA HANOVER Getting class relief. That’s the plus. The minus is she loses Gingras and moves way outside. Tough call now.
7 Seventh Race Entries
Picks: 7-6-3-8
H Horse Comment
1 SHINE N SHIMMER Her effort was OK last time, and it was her second race in 4 days. Draws inside. Tows along and hopes for a share.
2 SWEET HEDGE Stepping up off another win. My guess is this is just a little too much from her. But, I expect to see speed again.
3 HANDSOFFMYCOOKIE Plenty of class to this mare and her qualifier was very good. Adds Lasix too. She may need a start. Still contends.
4 UNRED HANOVER She was favored in a similar spot last time. That said, this race is much tougher. If you like her, price will be better.
5 CHIEF KAREN She is a bet back off her last mile, but this race came up very tough. Another who will offer a better price. Fringe player.
6 ROCKLAMATION Giving her a race instead of a second qualifier. She is the best of these, but is she fully cranked off the layoff? Tough.
7 N Y YANKEES Mare is very good right now. For her, like all the others, things get much tougher this time. Still has a seasoning edge.
8 SOUTHWIND JAZMIN Tetrick opts off, which had to be tough because this is one rock-solid mare. Another prime contender in a good field.
8 Eigth Race Entries
Picks: 7-2-9-8
H Horse Comment
1 THE CHANCELLOR Clearly should appreciate this drop down in class. He won against slightly better a month ago. Should be tough.
2 NEW ZION Gelding is racing really well right now and the move inside will only help matters for him. Expect another good effort.
3 GREY ICE Put forth a nice effort last time and Gingras really seems to get along well with him. Fringe player in a wide open field.
4 FROM ABOVE Making his first start back off a near six month layoff. Wasn’t Campbell’s choice and I have to see a start first.
5 WHEELS Not a bad try last time. See how Zumba Mouse did earlier to get a better gauge on this gelding. Might work out a trip.
6 DASH FOR THE CASH Has won at this level before and did so at a price. This field is tougher from top to bottom, though. Tricky.
7 BAMBINO HALL This looks like a spot he should wake up with a big effort in, but the race came up tough. Still is worth a look on the drop.
8 WESTSIDE LINDY Ditto the comment for Zumba Mouse earlier. This is a good level for him, but Andy is elsewhere. Expect speed.
9 MAGGLIO This drop in class worked out quite well for Westside Lindy last time. No speed, so will be at the mercy of the pace and trip.
10 CAMERON CHIP Speaking of no speed, from this draw I would think Meittinis has to avoid getting away last. Contender with a trip.
9 Ninth Race Entries
Picks: 7-4-8-3
H Horse Comment
1 DRAGON PRINCESS Coming off a sick scratch and a break in two of her last three. Her other effort was OK. Still looking for more.
2 ASSET MANAGEMENT Yet to race back to that effort on 2/22. Draws inside and wonder if we will see speed from here. Tricky call.
3 LOVE YOU BYE See how the Burke horses have done so far this week as the barn has been streaky. Clearly fits at this level.
4 MISS SAND CREEK She had some sneaky pace last week, but she loses Miller. Maybe Allard will find some speed here. Interesting.
5 DAY BLUE CHIP Likely to take play and moves into a tougher spot. She can win this, but I don’t want to take a short price now.
6 LEXUS ARTIST She was good two-back, but faltered last time. My guess is Pierce will take her off the gate tonight. Needs best here.
7 GORDYYY’S PET She wasn’t bad last week and with Gingras sticking to Burke, Campbell picks up a live drive. Big contender on drop.
8 SIR JILLIAN Z TAM Likely to make one, big, late move in the stretch. Not sure she will sweep past the field, but I will use her in spots.
9 SHAKY HANOVER Stepping up off a win and this was Miller’s choice. I expect to see speed from this wide post. Not sold on repeat.
10 Tenth Race Entries
Picks: 5-7-3-9
H Horse Comment
1 BLOOMFIELDCANTIFLY Showed speed last time and just ran out of gas. This 1-post is tricky. Gingras may be forced to send again.
2 BL CLASS ACT Gets a new pilot again tonight and is coming off a break. The post improvement will help. Mixed feelings now.
3 CHOCOHOLIC Mare is not coming out of the strongest of races. That said, she is sharp. I expect Miller to use her speed again.
4 AUTUMN TREASURE Only the one qualifier which was 3 weeks ago (see layoff report below). Connections seem pleased with her.
5 MR FENWICK Class hike was a little too much last time, but he didn’t show his typical early foot. I expect more speed this time. Player.
6 PERMANENT JOY Respect this horse as he can race on any sized track. He has some speed as well. Krivelin will put him in play.
7 THROUGH THE NIGHT I think this gelding is exiting some tougher races than most of these. Tetrick’s choice should be very tough.
8 SPECTATOR K Another who is exiting some tougher races, but his form just isn’t strong enough to merit consideration just yet.
9 OUTLAW Will likely have to come from far back here as he is completely without early speed. Will use him underneath as well.
10 MISS LEE Yet to find her best stride off the layoff. Mare has some ability, but I am just not sold that this is the right spot just yet.
11 Eleventh Race Entries
Picks: 7-2-10-8
H Horse Comment
1 ZIP IT LOCK IT It appears that the non-winners of 2 at The Meadowlands has been a bit too much. Hopes to slide along for a piece.
2 MS CAILA J FRA Loved her last week and she raced big. Moves inside and there is no reason not to expect another big effort.
3 IDEAL GINNY She continues to struggle a bit lately. One of these nights, Miller is going to fire her out. It might be this time around.
4 CRAZY EIGHTS She seems to have tailed off just a bit lately, but continues to earn checks. I will continue to use her accordingly.
5 DREAMING ALIINA Every week I expect her to work out a trip and pounce, but it is yet to happen. Likely a fringe player again.
6 PURA VIDA The post improvement will help. But she is 0 for 8 and I will need to see more before I can consider her a win player.
7 JK LETITGO Filly should be ready for her best in her third start off the layoff. Any kind of live cover trip will make her very tough now.
8 O NARUTAC ROCKETTE She raced big in her first start off the layoff. The price will not be as good, but she is a contender again.
9 JUS ONE KISS This race is substantially tougher than those nw1 races at Dover. I will watch her first start at the bigger track.
10 CHEYENNE MIRIAM She is racing well and has speed, so I am not concerned about the outside draw. The price should be better, too.
