1 DANCINGWITHDELIGHT Chased a millionaire in that qualifier and did it willingly. Note that he doesn't go in for a tag here, so Burke might like this one a little. No reason he can't be ready, especially from a pole position start.
2 GRAVE DANCER Not much from the outside post a couple weeks ago in the slop. Draws a better spot here, and the favorite is stuck outside. Still needs to find a touch more when it counts late. Haven't seen it yet.
3 FEARLESS LEADER N Off a couple of months, and he didn't look all that great in the qualifier. I'll watch one.
4 CHIP WALTHER Sizzled a pretty wild pace when last seen a couple weeks ago. With that said, I imagine the strategy will be different now. He was closing pretty well against similar a while back. Needs a trip, but has a chance.
5 ALWAYS A DIAMOND Bouncing up and down the class ladder a lot lately. Not much success. A longshot.
6 PERSEVERANT Took a ton of tote action in that last one, upon return from Freehold. He had a tough trip, but he was certainly live that night. Forced up a bit in class, so that's the problem for tonight. Not sure he can handle these.
7 TWINCREEKS JESSE Probably needs a return to the bottom class level before we see best again. I'm willing to wait for that, and will pass from this outer post. Demand big price if you fancy in this spot.
8 GIVEN UP TERROR Makes second start at the reduced level, but that last one wasn't particularly good. Would need a complete reversal of that, plus the bad post hurts. Not sure I can hop on board this boat just yet.
9 WICK N Gets stuck with a tougher post tonight, after being canceled out last week. No reason not to like him here, off that very positive effort. Carlson's choice over #1 tells us a lot. You don't turn down too many Burke drives.
10 MAY I CRUISE WEST Loses his regular pilot tonight, plus it's a much tougher spot than those claimers, in my opinion. He will likely be coming from last and you all know how I feel about that.

1 LIFE HAPPENED Tough call here. Did a fairly good job of keeping up behind #6 last week in one of the three races that were contested. He was big price too! Doesn't figure to offer those odds again, and might need a bit more.
2 LONG BEACH Did not race particularly well last Saturday, but everybody gets a free pass for that night. Track was slippery. However, the excuses are piling up for this fella. He's got to put it all together one of these nights.
3 HIS EXCELLENCE Off since September, so that's an issue. Comeback qualifier was not great, so it left my thinking he was going to need another. This race will probably serve as his second qualifier. Pass for now.
4 UNCLE COZ Stamina seems to be the problem with this guy right now. I won't hold last week's race against him, but I still haven't seen enough to make me want to bet. Has to improve a little to be competitive here.
5 BAG PIPE MAJOR Not a whole lot going right in this corner right now. Not sure what the pace scenario will be, but it doesn't look hot. This fella would need to get very lucky to beat these from off the pace.
6 J K FIELDING Was allowed to cruise around the track last Saturday and nobody really got close to him. That was BIG improvement off the break. Maybe the new barn has him figured out? I guess we'll find out tonight. Must earn it.
7 SPORTS COWBOY Figured to "need" that race last week and actually wasn't bad. It was a step in the right direction, but he's more hampered here by the post. Will likely face pressure if he tries to leave into #6. Not sure about that.
8 ROCK ON LINE Had a less-than-inspiring effort over at Yonkers. Finds his way back to the big size track, and barn must figure he needs it. Good test here from an outside post. Not sure he's sharp enough right now, however.

1 WALKS OF LIFE Taking the pretty big hike up in price tonight and I do wonder if he can handle it. Brett had a choice in here and took this gamer over #7, so that is significant. If he gets beat, I imagine we'll see him drop right back.
2 SPAGHETTI EDDIE On the comeback trail here, after whatever went wrong back in December. Barn must really like the horse to reclaim him. Gave him some time, and the qualifier wasn't bad. Figures to offer nice price, if ready.
3 ZERO THE HERO See how the barn's horses did last night. One of many shipped in with long layoffs due to the Meadows quarantine. My feeling is that none of them will be ready enough, but I'll adjust thinking if wrong.
4 MASTER OF PUPPETS Another that's been MIA for several weeks. Gelding does drop back down to the proper spot, and he comes up with a good mile every now and then. Will he be primed and ready for this? I wish I knew.
5 DRUNKEN TERROR Ended up with a pretty good trip two weeks ago and simply lacked that knockout punch. With that said, I wouldn't want him at a short price tonight. Will have to find a lot more late to pay off on the reclaim.
6 BRICKMAN Admittedly not one of my favorites, but back in for the tag, and back on the big track might help. That was very disappointing loss last time at Freehold. Would be tough to take if price were low again. I'll pass.
7 ULTIMATE BEACHBOY Apparently got sick and needed some time off. However, his comeback qualifier was better than it looks on paper. Had Brett opted here, I would probably like a lot more. Maybe he'll offer the value in here.
8 BAGGAGE CLAIM Steps up a notch for his new barn off the claim. Stopped the last time he raced at this level, however. I guess I'd need to see a good one before I could endorse again. This is no easy spot.
9 SIX GUN Jimmy P opted off #3 for this one, so that is a very telling choice. He was listed on every horse for that barn over the weekend. This gelding is dropping out of that very tough handicap claimer. Has speed to overcome the post.
10 MODERN YANKEE Horse packs a decent rally every once in a while, but how does he get into the race from post 10? The post looks like a killer in this spot, unless we get complete mayhem. That can happen sometimes.
4 Fourth Race Entries

H Horse Comment
1 MISTER TRUTH Rounded back into form nicely over past few starts and that was an uncatchable winner he chased in last. Gets the added bonus of the rail here, so Eric can leave a little to protect and then stalk. Chance tonight!
2 BIG TOP HANOVER Finally delivered the big effort I was waiting for last time. That was sharp win, so now he begins the ascent back up the class ladder. I think it was confidence builder, so he might be able to handle this. Use!
3 SOUTHWIND GENERAL Unseen off a dull effort back in January. Why the time off? The answer is probably not a good one, but this barn surprises me all the time. They usually have them ready. Adds Lasix tonight, so that's answer.
4 SISKEL Wasn't particularly effective here a while back. Also some time off. I don't think he's ready for this yet.
5 REACH FOR INFINITY Beat the weaker field with a nice, easy cruise right down the road. Will it happen that way again? I highly doubt it. There are some stronger foes in here. I will let him beat me, if he can.
6 THE FIRE WITHIN Crunched a somewhat weaker bunch two back, and then proved no match in the follow-up against a better bunch for this level. This is still no easy task, so he's back to longshot status for now.
7 IAMMRBRIGHTSIDE N Raced a bit better last time, providing us with a hint that he might be ready to return to form. I say might, because I'm not fully convinced yet. If he races well again tonight, then I will be. Your call?
8 IWILLMAKEYOUSAYWOW Kind of the same boat as #7. Showed a touch more life in that last one. We know he will wake back up eventually, but is this the spot? From a bad post too? I'm not so sure. Maybe we watch the board.
9 DAVID THE SAINT One of the Buffalo invaders this weekend. If they did well last night, maybe that will continue. I always hesitate to try a shipper like this. That, plus the post is terrible. Would need a very big mile to win this.
10 SPIRIT OF TRUTH His run of good luck and solid efforts is probably going to end here. Post 10 will do that to you, every time! Not much in the early speed department, so I cannot endorse the way race potentially sets up.

1 CENTURY CHURCHILL Probably could have won that last one, with a just a bit more kick. Still, it was positive effort He gets a nice post here, and keeps A Nap in seat as his choice over #4. Some positives to rely upon here.
2 HEZ A DUDE A Newcomer to North America looked just a little bit short in that qualifier. I thought he might try to qualify again, but nope. Right into the box and he's facing a strong bunch too! Guess I want to watch one first.
3 CHEYENNE SEEBER Squandered a good opportunity a couple weeks ago. Was chasing a very hot pace in the garden spot and just got a little tired himself. I guess it will take a different kind of trip to get closer. Not sure about that.
4 URBAN RENEWAL Actually outperformed my expectations last two when hiked up to this level. But, A Nap finally opted off here, and that has to tell us something. Likely to tow along again and try to keep up late.
5 ELRAMA N Liked the spot he was in last Saturday when we canceled. Have to think this is still good slot and spot for him. The run of bad luck and tough trips should come to an end and he should be able to beat these for Corey.
6 MAJOR TRICK As previously stated, I'm wary to try any of these Buffalo shippers. I understand why they're trying here, with so many canceled nights of racing these. Kinda hoping some of them get checks for shipping money.
7 COWBOY TERRIER That was SOME mile this fella uncorked last time! A real eye-catcher. But, he is forced up the class ladder now and Jimmy Jr. stayed loyal to #8. I still think he's got big chance. Can he upend the classy #5? Maybe.
8 JACKSRLUCKYTOO If you think there could be a little mayhem in the pace battle up front, then go ahead and play Jack in here. The post stinks, but any live flow puts his potent rally in play. Has to get a little lucky, but can happen.
9 ALTA LEROY N Battled gamely last time, so I'll give credit for that. However, this doesn't look like it'll work out.
10 BLAISE MM HANOVER Dropping a tick, but we're guessing if this is the right spot for a wakeup call. I'll guess no, and hope for a softer spot next week.

1 ALL WEEK Post and class relief is often a very potent combination, so it might be time to hop on board this boat tonight! The two favorites are a touch questionable, so I'll try this guy and hope we get a decent price.
2 DAVID'S DREAM This is probably about the right spot for him to wake back up. It's usually all about pace and trip when David gets back down to this level. He wasn't Brett's choice, but he does have a shot from this nice post.
3 EVER AGAIN Drops yet again, and also gets a more preferable post. If you think he could be ready to deliver a solid ,
4 K-LEES SHAKENBAKE Was actually favored against a better field last time at Yonkers and failed to deliver the goods. Quickly finds his way back to mile track for new barn, but they haven't figured him out yet. Needs a lot more to win.
5 NOCTURNAL BLUE CHIP Got caught on the lead on a sloppy track down at Freehold. I have to think this is a much tougher assignment here at Club Med, so I'm going to pass and watch one. To see if he belongs.
6 NORTHERN ASSASSIN A Big time confidence builder for this fella last start. Yes, the trip was good, but he did power home once put into gear. Can it work out that way again? Yes, but this is also tougher field. Needs that trip again.
7 EVEIL DUN CHAMPION Had a couple good starts in that very tough claiming handicap. How does that translate into this conditioned spot? I'm not really sure. He doesn't appear to pack much speed. Can he outkick the favorites? No.
8 SIR MACHALOT Threw in a real clunker when last seen, and that was very out of character for this horse. With that said, I don't know what we're going to get tonight. His A game is more than good enough. Bounces back, or not?
9 COPPER COAST A Another that gets out of that claimer and maybe that's what he needs? Flashed some rare speed a couple weeks ago, and he's going to need some of that to have a chance here. Will Corey send him? Maybe.
10 HILLBILLY HANOVER Makes second start back and gets stuck with post 10. Will probably need this one too!
7 Seventh Race Entries
Picks: 3-6-5-1
H Horse Comment
1 PONYTA BOY The Boy has been good in just about every start here for a while now. The pole is interesting spot for him here with Corey back aboard. Raced gamely for the Captain last time, but he will need an easier trip somehow.
2 JK WILL POWER Paid instant dividends for his new barn with a 5-1 sparkler. BUT, that was a month ago. Why the missed time? I don't know, but he couldn't have found a tougher spot here. He will have to prove he belongs.
3 ENDEAVOR I liked the spot he was in last week when we canceled. Guess I've got to go back to him again. I do wonder what the strategy will be, because he can leave if Pat wants. Very good horse here. Hoping for right price.
4 RODEO ROCK Had a deceptively good qualifier, but really buried in a tough spot for the first start off layoff. Will he really be ready to beat these with just one qualifier? I'm going to say no. Hoping for softer spot on down the road.
5 BETTOR'S EDGE Just hasn't been getting lucky lately, but he is still pretty good right now. Brett figures to send him out of there once again, but we'll see if he ends up setting pace, or stalking? Might be better off with the latter.
6 WESTERN JOE Got the week off, since we canceled last Saturday. Two weeks ago, Pat B put a perfect drive on this rapidly improving 4YO. But, I wonder what the strategy will be tonight. There could be a LOT of speed from inside.
7 ROCKIN RON Zipped around the oval in that qualifier, looking every bit the millionaire. Also got stuck missing a week, due to the snow, and they're running out of time to get him ready for the Levy in few weeks. Will he send? I wish I knew.

1 VERDAD I would call that a "useful" qualifier a couple weeks ago. It was definitely an improvement on the first one. But, he's missed a touch of time now, and is being dangled for a tag here. That's not exactly vote of confidence.
2 ROCKIN ROBERT Didn't look very ready in the comebacker, and I fear same thing here. Needs a few more.
3 ROCKIN THE HOUSE That was SOME recovery after that miscue a couple weeks back. But, the horse has done that before. He's not the safest-gaited thing out there, so be wary. Also hiking up to tackle the claimers.
4 R M BLACKHAWK Gave it a very good try two weeks ago, in a race that fell apart late and was won by longshot. This post is a lot better and he's versatile enough to do it either way. Horse is good right now, so if you want a price, use!
5 P H KENNY Not too many horses sweep the field like he did over at Yonkers. How sharp is this guy right now? Pretty sharp, but I do wonder if barn will lose him tonight via claim. Note he's in for the $20, not 25! That gets him this post.
6 ROCKIN RAMBARAN Doesn't fit the NW5,000 anymore, so it's into the claimer he goes. These are too tough.
7 RATHER SWELL Had an encouraging first start back here with a decent rally. Moves to a tougher post tonight, though. He did show speed a few times down at Dover. Will he send here? I don't see him outkicking the faves.
8 DURANT Claimed for $20K last time. It was a decisive win too! But, he's in for the $25K tag here, so that pretty much guarantees an outside post. Nap chose him over #10, so that's very positive sign. We're going to see speed.
9 KINGS BARNS Very likely to be coming from last in this spot and I don't usually endorse that. Would need a lot of mayhem and some things to go his way to have a chance. You can never count on that.
10 ROCKET J Probably the key to the whole race, on the ship back from Yonkers. He's got a ton of speed at driver's disposal, but it's a LONG way to the lead from post 10 in field like this. Not sure it's going to work out.

1 YO CHEYENNE ROCKY Didn't really fire when forced up to this level last time. But, that was from an outside post. This is a much better starting slot. Still figures to be a longshot, and must protect the pole a little. No shuffles either!
2 MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT The two straight outside posts kind of derailed his chances too! Will it be any better from this spot? That's a good question. Because he has surprised us with big miles at times. For price shoppers!
3 ROCKNROLL WILDCATS Went to running on the sloppy track last time, so that's a problem. Flashed wicked speed before that, against a tougher bunch. I guess he's eligible for a wakeup call on the drop, but it's still a risky bet.
4 DUNE DUDE Last week's trainer comment said he spooked at something, to cause that break. I loved him in the win before that, but this is still a pretty tough level for him. Jimmy will get him into the flow. We'll see if trip works out.
5 PHIL YOUR BOOTS Ships over from Yonkers for powerful barn, and yes it is a drop. BUT, Corey was listed and opted to stick with Calvin. That's a lot of mixed signals, but I wouldn't discount this fella. Faced Tullow N. A maybe.
6 BELIEVE THIS BOB Odd spot for the 10YO on the ship down from Monti. I think these are too tough for him.
7 CALVIN B Is this finally the spot for Cal to wake back up? It just might be! Since Corey took him again, don't expect a huge price. He has disappointed before, so I'll probably try others. Don't be shocked with good effort, though.
8 MAAJAACKKOBE Not really sure what to make of this guy at this level. That first try here didn't show me much. It's still the same class and it's another outside post. Would need a big wakeup call, or a dream trip to upset.
9 SPICEBOMB Ordinarily, I'd like the Spice in a spot like this, but maybe not tonight. The drop is key, but with Brett choosing #10, that does make me wonder. I'll give him a pass for the break. Good chance for Vinny G on pickup.
10 I'M SOME GRADUATE I liked the spot he was in last week when we canceled. This will be MUCH tougher, but you do get Brett, as his choice over #9. That IS a significant choice. Can gelding overcome post 10? A big 'ol maybe.
10 Tenth Race Entries

1 CLOUSEAU HANOVER Had a monster rally here with Lasix to beat the weaker group and then had a clunker over at Yonkers on the hike up, and outside post. Finds his way back to Club Med and gets rail. Possible upsetter?
2 FRANKY'S BEACH BOY I don't really know what to tell you about Franky right now. I can still remember that amazing win from December, but that seems like a long time ago now. Is he ready to bounce back to that? I don't know.
3 BEACHCHIP HANOVER Note that he's let into this race via an alternate condition. Sometimes, that's a good angle. That claiming handicap he was in is a very tough race. He wasn't bad in them. Will need trip, but does have chance.
4 SAMS TRIPLE CROWN Sam was good both times. Once very lucky, and last buried in traffic. Will he be overbet in here? That is a possibility. Not sure I'd want a short price, because he'll need a few things to go his way.
5 SUNSHINE WEST Looks like the longshot again, in very competitive field. I like the post, but he needs more.
6 COMMENTARIAT I can make a little case for some success in this corner tonight. With some power, and speed on the outside, there figures to be action in this race. That could set things up for a closer like this. Owns wicked kick.
7 BIG STRETCH MARK I'm still in shock that he won that last race a few weeks ago. Credit to Eric A on that superior drive. Will it happen that way again? Probably not, but horse is good right now. Can't argue with that.
8 JOHN DALLY This looks like way too tough a spot for John tonight. That, plus the post will see him getting away last. I don't envision him passing them all.
9 BEYOND DELIGHT Here's the key to the race, folks! Was VERY good in that qualifier, and clearly has some solid back class. Brett usually has them ready, and Jimmy opted here over #1. Significant choice! Hop on board despite post.

1 SOUTHERN PURSUIT N Ended up with a pretty good trip last time in a very live flow. Finished well, but not quite well enough. It might be back to the speed from this slot tonight. He'll want that trip behind #9 perhaps. Might work.
2 HOPE FOR BADLANDS Never seems to offer a big price. And, he never seems to deliver the goods. On the slow and steady comeback trail, but it's been a long time since he visited winner's circle. Tough call from inside post.
3 HOME JAMES Note the improved speed he offered last time, in the second start back. That was what I was looking for. Carlson keeps the drive and have to think he'll be aggressive again. This race does have a lot of speed in it.
4 ALONEINSPADES Off a series of clunkers, and then a scratch. Looks like a longshot again to me. Pass.
5 DANISH DILIGENCE Swept the whole field with a monster rally at 39-1 last time. IF you didn't go to the wedding that night, I would suggest you don't try him now. This looks like a tougher bunch. Hoping for hot pace scenario.
6 REASONABLE FORCE Taking a slight dip in class while shipping over from Yonkers. Could that work out? Yes! Keeps Jimmy in the seat and it'll be up to him to work out a trip. I don't see much speed from him. Hoping for live flow.
7 WORKANDPLAYHARD Just forget that last one, as he was tortured from post 10. This could be a little different here, as he tries to pay dividends for new barn off claim. One of the many speed possibilities in this wide open race.
8 WILLIE BOOTS Moves back to an outside post in field full of speedballs. Not sure that will work out for Willie.
9 NORTHERN VIRGIN Easily the key to the race, after going so well in that debut for Eric A. He sizzled at a very honest clip and was digging in all the way. I do wonder if he'll make the top that easily tonight. Lots of other speed types.
10 WAR-N-MUNN Ordinarily, I'd think about him on a class drop like this. Should be about raced back into shape. BUT, from post 10, with Brett opting off, I will wait another week.
12 Twelfth Race Entries

1 FEEL THE NEED A Shuffled and empty when last seen here. Maybe he didn't like the off track? Doesn't really matter, because you get a betting partner here. Ya bet one, ya get them both!
1A HUG THE WIND N Yes, he's coming off a clunker. Also facing a fellow "Preferred" type in #6. Gets the six hole right, right inside of the favorite. Should be interesting to see if he bounces back with that better effort. I don't know.
2 MAKE A STATEMENT A Wasn't able to get around Monti in his first real race in North America. Barn elects to try him here, and to be honest, they get stuck in a real tough spot. Is he really good enough to beat #1A,6? I say no.
3 MAJOR WAR That was SOME effort in that last win! It's not often you see a horse get passed and fight back to win. That's what he did. But, now he's forced way up in class. How far will that speed go tonight. Maybe not far enough.
4 TITUS SEELSTER This is a classy professional racehorse, folks. But, with just one slow Saratoga qualifier under his belt, I do believe he's going to need a race. I will pass, but watch closely for future consideration.
5 SWEET BEACH Have to be careful here too! Was full of pace in that last one, but got very rough near the end. I guess it's all about pace and trip for the Beach, but he can fly with the right setup. Not sure how big the price will be.
6 AWESOMENESS Is it finally time for this guy to pay off? He's been pounded at the windows each and every time. It took an amazing effort to beat him two weeks ago. I guess it's all about the post here. He has to leave a little.
7 SAPPHIRE CITY Same boat as #4. Off a couple of months. One comeback qualifier where he was just okay. A bad post drawn. Will he need a race, or a softer spot? I think so.
8 QUALITY CLOSER This is a very good horse too! But maybe not for tonight's betting purposes. Horse has done well here, and on all size tracks. But, from the outside post, I'll probably take a pass for tonight. Wait for softer spot.

1 TANGO STAR On the slow and steady comeback trail, and I'll emphasize the slow part. But, barn keeps trying to get him back, so that is positive indicator. They don't waste time. Let's see if he's ready just yet. I'm not so sure.
2 TEGANSMILE By now, you know how these Meadows shippers have fared this week, so react accordingly. This fella was on a nice, improving trend before the quarantine. He could come back okay.
3 PEPPER GUY Gets his last "free pass" in this class tonight. But, it should be interesting battle with #9. Funny that they both drew similar posts to last Saturday when we canceled. That definitely gives this one an edge. Must use that.
4 PARTY BOY He was okay in that qualifier, but probably isn't up to this kind of task just yet. I will pass for now.
5 BET THE DRAGON Doesn't win all that often, but is usually right there. A "must use" in your gimmicks, including the big Jackpot Super Hi 5! Post is perfect and horse is versatile enough to do it either way. Gets a trip behind faves.
6 STRAIGHTOUTACONSIN Has one race under his belt, off the layoff. He had NO chance in that last one, while #9 just cruised along. This could be a little different. I give him "live longshot" chances with these. Only needs a trip.
7 ROCKIN MACHINE New acquisition for Team Bongiorno. Burned a little bit of money in the first go down at Freehold. Fact that they change venue up here could be a positive. Joe B does come for the drive. That's telling.
8 WHATA TWIST Looks like another one of those "use" horses in the gimmicks. Doesn't win very often, but usually sneaks onto the ticket somehow. The post is the big problem here. Andy will try to get him into it.
9 ROLLING SEA Bounced back nicely, with a controlling, easy win two weeks ago. It's a lock that A Nap will be sending him out of there again. And, he will try to get the jump on #3. Should be good battle once they hook up.
10 SCHOLZ Retains large longshot status, having drawn another terrible post. Plus, he's not in good form either.
