The Bayonne Chamber of Commerce will host their Networking and Charity event at Winners, located at 400 Route 440 North, Bayonne, New Jersey, on December 12, 2012 at 6:00 PM.   Members of the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce will not only gather to share information on their local businesses and network but will also donate gift cards to replenish needed supplies at the local food banks.

Winners, an Off Track Wagering facility, is hosting this memorable and gracious event as a newcomer to the Bayonne community.   Jeff Gural, Chairman and Operator of the Meadowlands Racetrack and Winners, supports worthy charitable causes in all of the communities that he operates.   Winners along with Jeff and Paula Gural have already made several contributions to the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation, with donations of over $12,500 since Winners opened its doors in July, 2012.

Gural feels it is important to help the community that has embraced Winners.  “With the opening of Winners Bayonne, we are now a part of the community of Bayonne,” said Gural.  “We will make it a point to help the community in any way that we can.  This is a great event and I look forward to Winners Bayonne partaking in many more significant events in the community.”

In addition to having management from Winners and Meadowlands Racetrack in attendance to network and meet community business leaders, they will raffle gifts at the doorway, and contribute $500 dollars toward the food banks as well as donate over 25 turkeys for use at the food pantries during the holiday season.

Gail Godesky, the Treasurer of the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce in addition to being Vice President, Area Manager for Provident Bank echoed Gural’s comments on community.  Bayonne has always been about community,” said Godesky.  “Our businesses and members of the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce have always been there to pay it forward.  For our third year, we once again are looking forward to a successful Chamber to Charity Event to provide our Food Pantries in our city with some holiday cheer assisting them in helping those that are in need.  Isn’t that what it is all about?”

Winners is honored to be a member of the Bayonne community.
