Race 1

4-Bestjetyet – broke his maiden here last June, returns from a four-month layoff & several qualifiers, finally got his act together with a solid comeback on Lasix

5-Star Chaser – was on a four-race winning streak before faltering in a series final at Georgian Downs with a dismal :31.2, back to Burke Barn for rebound therapy

8-Connery Blue Chip – arrives on a four-race winning streak & breezed in that second qualifier here for a dangerous combo of Joe Bongiorno & Conor Flynn

Race 2

2-One Through Ten – unfurled a completely dominant 4yo debut for Nifty Norman, lands inside a so-so division & continues to progress

4-Defying Gravity – draws well off an excellent speed try & acclimating mile, eight for 22 record last year says a lot & figures to be forwardly placed

8-Ethan Hanover - beaten favorite brushed & pummeled into submission, fresh claim off the Burke debut here has the credentials to be a serious threat

Race 3

3-Shaws Creek Buff – was hammered down to 7-5, somehow got away last with no chance, big chance to rebound in a question mark field

5-Cee Pee Panic – was used pretty hard from post 10 in his Burke Barn debut here, based on his lines at Woodbine he looks like a major rebound candidate

4-Dial A Win – chased a runaway in that latest qualifier here with a noteworthy :27.3, can be a factor if ready

Race 4

8-DW’s NY Yank – beat impressive first out winner Helios in that qualifier off the sick scratch & lands in a soft spot for his Burke Barn debut

3-Macho Lindy – 9yo veteran put forth a game grind against B-2 stock & draws inside a camera shy bunch

1-Stretch Limo – that was an easy, perfect, two-hole trip win at Harrah’s Philly, yet a win is a win & goes a long way from the pole in a field begging to be beaten

Race 5

1-Ringo – Dover Downs raider ships up the turnpike brimming with confidence & commands large respect from the pole for Corey Callahan

4-Holdingallthecards – arrived with fanfare & scored a key win against this kind utilizing his gate speed to secure a perfect trip, an excellent prep for this series

5-Arthur – note the way he kicked home to win the qualifier with a :27.3, taps further into his potential in a challenging division

Race 6

6-Rose Run Hooligan – 10yo warhorse couldn’t quite get there with a perfect trip when favored, remains a serious threat with Simon back in town

2-Lucky Roll – was shuffled from the rail, angled around traffic with a late move in :27.3, back inside off an excellent acclimating mile

5-Speculation – just missed when he shook loose late & surged after Waldorf Hall, on a form spree & looks for a better trip in a very competitive field

Race 7

10-Mystical Victress – Invitational winner at Indiana Downs & 11 for 18 last year, unleashed an impressive second qualifier here for Erv Miller

4-Chief Karen – rallied off cover to chase a standout Hot List after winning from last-to-first, maintains her high profile here as a legitimate A-2

3-Argument Hanover – rebounded with a perfect trip win from an inside post at Yonkers, piled up the wins last season & lands inside here for Team Burke

Race 8

9-Go On BB – millionaire Burke trainee was caught in a first over grind, with the right set up she can flaunt her class in this uninspiring field

5-Reilly’s Daughter – we know she loves the Big M, hasn’t raced in eight months, yet she could threaten with her late move if ready enough

1-Synergy Seelster – offered some decent late pace for a piece from post eight, moves inside & continues to fit this B-1 class

Race 9

6-Flashy Lady – veteran mare flashed a :27.3 kicker to win the qualifier, that’s enough to beat this bunch & her previous record is worth noting

7-Mohegan Hanover – came around & showed speed when favored in his third start for Team Orange Crush, further improvement expected

2-Spice It Up Lindy – was able to tower up late to finish a close second when the front end collapsed back on Opening Night, rewarded with an inside post

Race 10

1-Western Tsunami – 10yo needed that last start here when he paced home in :56.2, the rail facilitates a trip he needs

7-Stormin Rustler – reached the top of his form cycle with a first over crush at the $15,000 level, chance to stay on a roll

2-Image Of Dawn – rare 14yo with millionaire status a perfect four-for-four in the Conor Flynn barn, draws favorably in a field he can get the jump on

Race 11

1-Fox Valley Swift – was weak in the win column last year, but uncorked an eye-opening rally in :27 and :56 in her first start here

2-Love You Bye – continued her improving trend with an advance to hit the board from far back, will need to crank it up further

5-Gordyyy’s Pet – that was some kind of turnaround for this 7yo who stormed home from last in :27 and :55.4, must prove it was no fluke
