10-Cee Pee Panic – another fresh threat for the Burke Barn, a lightly-raced 4yo took a new two starts back at Woodbine & did well from outside posts
7-Holdingallthecards – not sure how the Invite level at Balmoral Park matches up here, but the 12 for 21 record, speed, form & barn change are all pluses
2-Defying Gravity – piled up eight wins in 22 starts, while beating nonwinners of 4 at Yonkers, expect to see his controlling speed from an inside draw

2-Freddy Day Hanover – 1:50.1 winner here in 2012 lands inside a solid field off deceptively good qualifier with :54.4 back half indicating readiness at a price
9-Lookinforadventure – knows his way around this track, gets some class relief, which will force him to employ his effective rally
5-Mystic Desire – sprinted out, stole a :56 half, then fought off fierce pressure fresh off the bench, merits the step up from B-2
Race 4
9-Tiger Williams – brushed & crushed $20,000 stock in his comeback here Opening Night to cap a strong 2012, takes only a slight step up here
1-Oyster Bay – recent claim has been struggling with slows starts from outside posts, veteran now lands the pole off a solid year
3-Gaelic Thunder – impossible to ignore off that game first over last Saturday, draws the same inside post & just needs to time his move right

7-Hemer’s Card Shark – acclimated with noteworthy late pace in :55.1 back half in last Saturday’s snow, could retain his value in an even affair
2-Allamerican Pewter – rounded into winning form in his last three at Yonkers & draws inside off a gutsy first over score
8-Mybrothergeorge – recent form appears suspect & will need a fast pace, yet has to rate strong consideration based on the class drop
Race 6
3-Dial Or Nodial – went on a late-season winning streak & got scorched in his latest at Harrah’s Philly, lands in a perfect spot to stalk n pop
5-Golden Receiver – The Golden One posted nine wins here last season, defending Presidential champ was right there from start to finish & looks ready
6-Nob Hill High – put together crushing back-to-back Open tallies at Dover Downs recently, seems up to this serious test

8-Silver Eagle – put forth an excellent mile in his debut here, brushing to the top & chasing a standout, looking forward to the follow up effort
7-Musselsfrmbrussels – beaten favorite had no chance getting away last, had missed three weeks & seeks a stronger pace set up
3-Line Officer – stormed home from far back over a good track, needed that start over the track & post improves
Race 8
3-Ethan Hanover – engaged Dinner Guest in a fierce tussle & held for third in a strong mile, lands inside again for Team Burke
5-Sonic Raider – made it two-for-two off the Brandon Simpson claim with a sterling rally & threatens to take another if anywhere within range
4-Esprit De Kayjay A – 9yo veteran launched a vicious slingshot move off cover to score a 17-1 upset last Saturday, faces a stronger group here
Race 9
5-Lahaye – qualified twice against Open class pacers like Golden Receiver, ready for his return in real soft spot
8-Fuzzylegsandall – take note of that energetic qualifier with pace at both ends & looks to be well spotted here for Team Burke
4-Mighty Young Joe – 10yo kicked home in a sharp :27 with Lasix added, elevated to the B-1 level, but draws a better post
Race 10
4-Shaws Creek Buff – that was a game grind for the place in his Big M debut for Nik Drennan, any kind of expected improvement beats this wide-open field
6-Nathan Feelsgood – has taken a few miles to get going, we know he’s better than last week’s even fifth, count on some back class to resurface
10-Lawgiver Hanover – product of the NYSS circuit has been roughed up in his last three starts, has some potential & just needs to get into a live flow
Race 11
3-Mickey Hanover – steady customer who loves to take charge almost converted a perfect cover trip, remains a live stalking item for Rene Allard
2-Electrofire – brushed n crushed A-2 stock well within himself fresh off the Casie Coleman claim, draws well in a very competitive A-1 class
4-Escape The News – was chasing top level 3yos like Heston Blue Chip & fresh from an air-out mission at Harrah’s Philly for Team Burke
Race 12
7-Stonebridge Master – 1:51.3 winner here last April has come around recently, ships off a tough trip at Yonkers & his closing style suit this longer stretch
1-Albion – can’t ignore this winner of 19 races last year & lands the pole off a narrow loss at Harrah’s Philly for Virgil Morgan, Jr. (Pet Rock, Mister Big, etc.)
6-Bolero Andrew – weak in the win column last season, but likes this track & figures to be better in his second start off a sick scratch
