Race 1

9-Zuerest – 1:54.1 mark here last season, strong in the win column, sharp qualifier with Man O Matic, Dave Miller sends him in an intriguing opener

8-Missy Goldfire – based on her solid recent form at Harrah’s Philly, which features a win with trot at both ends, Eric Carlson patience could pay off

1-Live Jazz – offering some positive signs recently, inside speed a definite asset here as he’s best when forwardly placed

Race 2

6-Helios – lightly-raced & promising 4yo Muscles Yankee, series winner at Vernon Downs, qualified with solid trot & now with Team Orange Crush

5-Volare De Vie – cycled forward to win two straight at Harrah’s Philly, second try off the bench & figures to be the one to knock off

4-Pilatus – sports some pedigree & excellent record at Saratoga, qualifier was okay first time Mark Harder & Tim Tetrick, ready to tackle new heights

Race 3

3-Fast And Fiesty – arrived here in prime form & got used too hard from post 8, gets the inside draw to facilitate a stalking trip this time

6-Bittersweet Best – was used hard, shuffled & shook loose too late, which cost her the decision to the bomb Carolstern, second try off the bench

8-Full Explosion – did the bulk of the work when she grinded after the favorite & didn’t fade much, acclimated now & Gingras can get some cover here

Race 4

3-Civic Duty – I’m liking his increased vigor since the claim at Pocono, should like the longer stretch here, looks like a bit of a class drop & adds Gingras

6-Fountainbleau Volo – last year’s Horse & Groom champ started to come around recently at Harrah’s Philly before the break last out

1-Celebrity Bombay - returned from over three months off & displayed some of his controlling speed in that handy qualifier with Marcus Johansson at the lines, gets forwardly placed in a strong field

Race 5

3-Jessesjo – exits a career season, arrives in excellent form & draws inside a competitive field for Team Burke

5-Lord Darby – 8yo veteran rode a form spree right into a well-driven Orange Crush upset, stalking type makes the requisite step up from B-1

1-Speculation – chased a very sharp Harbor Point last out after winning with a hefty late burst at Harrah’s Philly & lands the pole again

Race 6

7-Western Tsunami – steady 10yo ran into a sloppy track when dropped to this price two starts back & you must respect the high percentage connections

2-Activator – 12yo warhorse fresh off another productive year & claim, a versatile player at this level & former sub 1:50 performer here lands inside

9-Diamonddonthebeach – came to life in his last three at Harrah’s Philly & steps up off the claim by Chris Oakes

Race 7

6-The Evictor – has obviously rounded into form, put together a big back half chasing All About Justice, just needs the right set up at a value price

4-Don’t Know Chip – was no match for the trip-sitting All About Justice, but makes a more significant second start off the bench with high credentials

5-All About Justice – repeated at 50-1 given another perfect drive by Mike Simons, consistent 9yo logically looms large as a result

Race 8

10-Diamond Tiara – was chasing the world champion Put On A Show at Harrah’s Philly, her snap gate speed can get her involved

1-Chief Karen – polished off 2012 on a high note taking three of her last four, rallied from last to first & lands the pole in the same A-2 class

4-Hot List – $15,000 Burke claim has been utilizing her controlling speed on NY half-milers, sharp form gives her a leg up on this tougher company

Race 9

5-Zooming – Amber Buter ships in another live trotter, too far back in his last two from outside posts at Yonkers, looks for a stalking set up here

4-Rose Run Hooligan – 10yo has enough class, flashed late life in that qualifier & draws well to merit respect for Tetrick & Allard

3-Sea Raven – closed into a :56.4 back half to hit the board here last week, her style seems to fit into the pace scenario in this intriguing affair

Race 10

4-Caramel Chinno – was caught in the typical grind from post 10, recent claim has now acclimated & draws better to work out a more favorable trip

6-Joyfuljoy N – emerged from a shuffle with a :27.3 as the winner took off by four, any semblance of that effort gets it all in this one

11-Dragon Princess – steady Big M lover has come to hand in her last three, can show her class if she can work out a decent trip from the second tier

Race 11

4-One Night – shook loose with strong late pace to finish second to a decisive winner, draws well again with a winning attitude

5-Elleofnxample – launched a vicious move to swoop the field when well supported opening night, worthy of the step up to B-1

1-Mojarra Hanover – unleashed an eye-catching rally chasing the headstrong Ryder Blue Chip, must include her from the pole off that effort
