Race 1

4-Good Sound Advice – 4yo son of the prolific Ontario sire Kadabra is just 1 for 29, yet ships into the mighty Burke Barn & recent lines riddled with tough trips

8-Windsun Galliano – a very lightly-raced 4yo debuting for noted trotting aficionados Team Orange Crush, won the qualifier with a strong finish

9-No Less Than Magic – another Kadabra & green 4yo finding his best stride for Nifty Norman, a solid runner-up in his first start off the bench

Race 2

1-What’s The Story – the latest story has been one of sick scratches, then a strong rally in the qualifier with Lasix added & now the rail in a soft field

4-Protocol – was a $40,000 yearling out of a Breeders Crown winning dam, debuted with a handy score at Harrah’s Philly & draws well

8-Arc De Triumph – from the first offering of Tell All, sold for $70,000 as a yearling, qualified here in 1:52.3, had his own way in the latest Q

Race 3

3-Ax Man – took a mark of 1:54.1 here last season, so we know he can trot, plus Rob Harmon always sends them ready & puts them in where they can win

8-Striking Forever – she hasn’t been strong in the win column, but can certainly handle herself on a half-miler & won her qualifier with a nice late burst

4-T P Lucy – 1:55.1 winner here in 2012, scored with an eye-catching move at Freehold two starts back, then chased in a 1:54.4 at Harrah’s Philly

Race 4

5-Smoke Pan Mirrors – 1:52.3 Big M winner returns to the mile track in her third start off a sick scratch, so likely trending in the right direction

1-Lizzie’s Dream – recent form has been less than stellar, but the class & post relief, plus the big driver change to The Bionic Man could spell wake up

4-Ariane Hanover – she took her mark here last April with Campbell in the bike, sports a pair of recent wins, freshened up & favorably classified

Race 5

3-Gambler’s Tale – just missed from a tough spot with a late surge at Harrah’s Philly two starts back & drops into a soft spot here

1-Articulate – toss his last start from post 8 at Freehold off a sick scratch, makes his second start for a new barn with a stalking trip imminent

2-Forensic Z Tam – kicked home in :27.1 in the qualifier on 12-20, lacked the same zip on 12-29, 9yo millionaire might need a spin or two

Race 6

4-You Little Rascal – really turned it around with that mild upset at Yonkers, big chance to follow up in an ideal spot for a barn that knows how to win here

1-Arts Chip N Gail – was on a form spree before her latest debacle at Harrah’s Philly, reunited with Ricky Macomber, Jr. & has the credentials to be a threat

8-Goin Broke – scored a hefty eight times in 22 starts last year, goes second time Lasix & drops from nonwinners of five at Harrah’s Philly

Race 7

2-White Ruler – we’ve got an 0 for 17 last year making his second start for Nik Drennan off a decent fourth on the drop down & lands inside

9-Dragon King – only 1 for 31 in 2012 is hard to take, but the veteran’s recent form is strong & he faces much weaker company

3-Zen Major – go back to how Majorly Bad stood out last Saturday for the Joe Bongiorno-Conor Flynn combo, could the barn change work again?

Race 8

6-Ccs Lover N – 9yo New Zealand bred was a machine at Pocono, freshened up, qualified a ton here & finds a field he can dominate

4-Integrity – an intriguing claim by Virgil Morgan, Jr. has yet to pay off in four starts, but he may have found a field he can stalk n pop

7-Four Starzzz King – 12yo warhorse suddenly pulled one out of his hat with surprisingly good vigor, knows his way around this oval

Race 9

7-Jedrik Hanover – very productive 8yo whose latest win was a commanding wire-to-wire blowout at Harrah’s Philly, then just missed repeating

4-Blomkvist – 1:54.1 winner here last season grinded gamely in the qualifier and draws nicely to rebound off those recent gate breaks

8-Swagger Begonia – very interesting claim by Rene Allard was only 2 for 32 last year, will definitely need the right pace set up here

Race 10

4-Runaway Rose – just reeled off the class drop n pop at Yonkers & lands a perfect spot to get aggressive again

5-Latin Lyric – has been trading blows with Runaway Rose at Yonkers & beat her two starts back, renews the rivalry here with an ideal mid-pack post

11-Jack’s Magic Jewel – 1:51 Pocono winner goes for three in a row from the second tier, this 10yo mare is tough when able to take charge
