6th Race

#3 Big Jim is back-he's 2-2 here and draws in the weaker of the two elims. The top five go to the final, that will enable him to work on his best game-rallying.
#5 Betterthanchedar will try and become the first Pace horse in 8 years to win it WITHOUT having competed as a 2 Year Old. (All American Theory 2003) Casie Coleman will have him ready for action and what looks to be her 4th Pace final awaiting.
7th Race
#3 Mr Massimo owns a huge turn of foot-one which was not on display bumping into Canada's co-fastest effort of all time in his last. Son of 2000 Meadowlands Pace runnerup Astreos, he's set to resume his over-achieving ways.
#4 Dinner Guest makes his third start for the Cito barn, always a high percentage outfit. Son of 2003 4th place finisher in the Meadowlands Pace-Triple Crown winner No Pan Intended.
8th Race
#1 Mr Tommy Fra just missed in the $100G final first time Pena barn. Colt hasn't yet put it all together but simply has to be used off that big-time try.
#9 Real Special has a high career winning percentage-note the 26.1 rally home last out from a tough spot. On the fringe of being better than the NW3-types but not exactly Pace elimination material.
9th Race
#3 Takeshigemichi  is almost as tough to spell as bet on. He beat up on the 6th-graders last time-now he'll try to make his way back up through the classes.
#5 Hit Away was NOT as good as his last line indicates. Yes-he was 2nd at this level-but he raced off his cover and finished gradually-NOT with abandon. Still, he knows this track and third time Rene Allard might be a down-the-road mission.
#9 Go Go Solano has five straight sub 1:51 miles and no wins for the year. Outer posts are not foreign to him either. No problem using him in here.
