RACE 1

1-Western Showgirl – Got stuck in a four-hole & shook loose with plenty of late pace on the cones to just miss @ 42-1 last week, nosed out by Its Mesmerise N from the rail back on March 5, worth a swing for Team Ginsburg?

5-Windmeupnwatchmego – Unleashed her big kick to finish a close second in her last two, Pappy Rocks got the jump on her last week, steps up a notch, but could be on the verge of breaking that 2021 goose egg

6-Stellenbosch – Three-time beaten favorite had things her own way & faded to fourth last week, might be a tad more effective in a stalking mode & her lone win this season came over an off track

RACE 2

1-Island Of The Sea – Lightly-raced 4YO prospect purchased by Eric Ell, 1:48.4 Indiana Sires Stakes winner @ Hoosier Park, favored in both starts back @ Dover Downs, roughed up in most recent & lands the rail here in a field of question marks

7-Environs Hanover – Reeled off three straight in lively style, his latest a post seven blowout before fading badly on an easy lead after missing three weeks, obviously wasn’t himself & missed a couple of weeks, but dangerous if able to rebound

4-Barrage Hanover – 4YO was beginning to blossom for Chris Ryder, just missed with sharp pace at both ends two starts back before finishing a sluggish sixth last week, draws well with the talent to bounce back

RACE 3

1-Whittaker N – Chased a surprisingly good 1:50 winner Like Clockwork in last Saturday’s opener, regaining form since the late February sick scratch, drops another notch, lands the rail again & retains Tetrick

3-Good Rockin – Twice beaten favorite just one for 12 this season, parked first over in his last two, still held for third last week, draws post three again, keeps A Mac, horse-for-the-course remains at the bottom level

4-Hudsen A – Possible fresh angle price play here, qualified against Preferred class Vettel N, was a fringe player in tougher classes @ Yonkers, draws well to trip out & barn also has 2-Kerrin Joseph A

RACE 4

1-Covered Bridge – 1:48.3 performer @ The Big M in 2020 beat Harambe Deo in the comeback qualifier, then forced wide from an impossible spot, back half in :54.1, now gets class & post relief for his second try off the bench

5-Cliffhanger – Really let them have it with a dominant score at this level two starts back & took a new mark of 1:50.3 in the process, drops back down for a midpack launch & retains The Minister of Speed

4-Like Clockwork – Uncorked a turnaround mission with a drop n pop, while equaling his lifetime mark of 1:50 last week, now draws better to employ the same strategy for the step back up

6-April Ava – Perfect trips have paved the way to go two-for-two here for Team Burke, lowered her mark to 1:51 with a :26.2, then stepped up & nailed a 7-1 upset, has missed a couple of weeks & tougher post, but has some upside

5-Betalady – Can’t forget those impressive rallies to score back-to-back in late February, roughed up & broke two weeks ago, could have some speed to shoot at here & a bounce back effort puts her in play

RACE 6

4-Nows the Moment – Beaten favorite, off a big qualifier unleashed a lively comeback mile from post nine & finished a sharp second in a deadheat, 1:51.3 performer here last season follows up with an improved post

6-Scirocco Rob – Bounced back to beat JL Cruze among others in the Dover Downs Open & equaled his mark of 1:51.3, also won his last start here wire-to-wire, versatile gelding strong in the win column

5-U S Captain – Stormed home to surprise them from post ten three starts back, then got parked first over, sprinted home to hit the board with extra vigor last week

4-Franco Totem N – Shrugged off the sick scratch & left alertly to trip out & upset Harambe Deo last week, draws inside to build on his momentum

7-Harambe Deo – Beaten favorite came up a tad shy to Franco Totem N in his comeback for Team Cullipher, 1:48.3 performer here in 2020 is tighter now

1-Always And Again – Was able to take control & went on unchallenged to score his third win in his last four starts, red-hot Dylan Davis trainee moves inside a field full of live possibilities

6-Nicholas Beach – Qualified with zeal, then unfurled a down-the-road romp as the heavy favorite @ Pocono, this is a fresh & live prospect for Team Bongiorno likely looking to leave & stalk the speed

RACE 11
