2A-Canepa Hanover - $300,000 Muscle Hill brother to Triple Crown champion Glidemaster hailed as the next coming, latest qualifier for Gingras-Takter signaled the sky’s the limit, faces second tier challenge


1-Stonebridge Force – Muscle Hill brother to Oaks champion champion out of a half sister to Pizza Dolce won his lone baby race with pace control and :27.2 speed for Svanstedt, draws well as part of a strong entry


9-Magenta Man – Muscles Yankee brother to near half million dollar winner Deweycolorintheline went all the way in his third qualifier in 1:59.4, makes him a contender here despite post ten



6-Easter Surprise – 3YO with potential just missed in her first two starts off the bench at Pocono, then miscued during a tough trip, drops into a wide-open C-2 she can exploit


2-Spell To Cast – Paced a pretty solid :56 back half after missing three weeks off a sick scratch, has faced tougher this season, draws better & retains Pierce


3-Deliciouslynaughty – Took her mark of 1:52 here back on 4-18, strong third with pace at both ends two starts back & no chance from post seven last out, moves inside a soft C-2



7-Saturday Mornings – Muscle Hill filly whose second dam is Oaks champion Gleam simply cruise in her sires stakes debut after some inspiring qualifiers


8-Blue Muse – Muscles Yankee first foal out of a multiple NYSS winner won her only trial in handy fashion for Svanstedt, draws a tough post, but has The Boss involved


2-Mission Brief – Third foal out of Breeders Crown champion Southwind Serena made multiple miscues as the heavy favorite in her debut, chance to atone with any semblance of her sharp qualifier on 6-16



1-Muscle Midas – Paid the price for a slow start from post ten as the beaten favorite last week, more than willing winner before that, moves inside for Hambletonian aspirations to be realized


4-Dejatiero – Brother to world champion/millionaire Dejarmbro was scratched sick off an eye-catching debut, looms a mystery for Smedshammer after missing a month


7-Southwind Poseidon – Dropped into a wide-open maiden event & broke through in smashing style from post nine for Campbell & Ryder, big chance to build on that effort



7-Drop The Ball – Classy millionaire won her last start here in the slop back on 5-16 & comes off an easy wire-to-wire score at Pocono, expect blastoff mode


8-Shebestingin – Fastest filly in history didn’t measure up to the top mares in the Roses Are Red, freshened up, added Lasix & aired it out in her latest qualifier here & has something to prove


5-Mattie Terror Girl – Gutsy, relentless mare stepped up & steamrolled to her second straight 1:50.2 tally, no doubt on her toes for Tony Alagna & may be up to the top ones



6-Social Scene – Casie Coleman trainee was a 2013 NYSS champion, suddenly set the pace & settled for second as the beaten favorite in NY, needed the race & shows Preferred class lines on the WEG circuit


5-Western Empress – Grinded gamely into a quickening :55.3 back half chasing an even money favorite Victoria May N, stepping up slightly again, yet her persistence may pay off this time


2-Macharoundtheclock – Third last out behind Western Empress, finally moves inside to allow her to expend less energy leaving, stalk the speed & kick home with more vigor



5-Bouncing Bax – NYSS champion at three gathering momentum on the comeback trail for trotting specialist Jim Raymer, fresh off a career best, generous classification at C-1 level here


7-Bossy Volo – Gelding has come to life winning back-to-back in PA, while lowering his mark to 1:55.1, picks up Dave Miller & fits well here


3-My Leap Of Faith – Fresh from a narrow loss at Pocono from post nine, consistent stalker may be getting some class relief here & lands inside



5-Lad Pine – Exits the Flower Child Series, just missed three starts back with Dave Miller in the bike, then simply too far back in his last two, look for The Buckeye to get him involved


4-Newsboy Moriarty – Landed on the fringes chasing some tougher, sharper foes in the Flower Child Series, stormed home to upset this kind back on 5-30


10-Beau Joe – Got to give this 9YO veteran a chance despite post ten, the beaten favorite controlled an honest pace & yielded to the pocket-sitting PT’s Boomerang, continues to turn his game around



7-UF Dragon’s Queen – Her form cycled forward recently, this is a significant class drop, owns wicked gate speed to establish the stalk n pop strategy


4-Miss Machqueen – Exploded home from far back to post a new mark first time Lasix on 6-20, then forced to close into a :54.4 back half, drops back to C-2


10-Aria J – Beaten favorite drops another notch after struggling against much tougher, she was a C-1 winner back on 5-9, just needs the right set up from post ten



4-Lightning Force – Campbell carved out a nice trip & got the jump on the favorite Muscle Midas, looks to build on that new mark third time Lasix


8-Speak The Truth – Won a sires stakes division in the slop, impossible trip chasing Trixton in the Goodtimes, rebounded with a strong qualifier beating Cee Bee Yes


6-Hillustrious – Burke Hambletonian eligible was more aggressive in a career best mile & needs to break that 1:54 barrier now in a competitive field



2-Mistresswithmuscle – Landed on the fringes against sires stakes, chased a couple of good males with a solid :27.2 last week & draws well in a soft field


3-Angels Ransom – Jogged with surprising ease in a career best two starts back, then chased the sires stakes champion Heaven’s Door & now lands a better post


4-Home Front – Anything Ake Svanstedt sends out has to be monitored closely, this colt was a distant third behind superior foes in his latest qualifier



6-Prove Up – Fresh off a noteworthy debut here, flashing some late trot for Tetrick & Toscano, expect more aggressive handling off that needed start


7-J Cs Jake – Beaten favorite in the Flower Child Final rallied to take a new mark in the slop two starts back, then caught in never-never land last out, chance to atone


5-McKenzie’s Star – Raced well in the Flower Child Series, winning a division & got parked the final, dropping to the bottom C-2 level & draws a bit better
