RACE 1

2-Red Hot Spicy – Went 0 for 9 as a 2YO, yet gained some stakes experience, now switches to Ake Svanstedt, the qualifier was adequate & the inside draw favorable

1-Scream And Shout – Rested a few weeks after tailing off in NJSS, wired foes in her qualifier with good energy for Takter & lands the pole

3-Muscles And Spice – A decent third in both starts here, now fully acclimated, draws better & has a big chance to show more of his upside

RACE 2

2-Montalbano Bi – Proved that first win was no fluke with a grinding repeat in 1:54.3 for Smedshammer, lightly-raced Donato Hanover colt has talent & upside, worth a swing

4-Heaven’s Door – Muscle Hill filly simply blasted down the road in a stunning 1:52 to take the NJSS final three weeks ago, after breaking her maiden in style she’s still eligible to N/W of 2

1-Moonlight In Miami – Broke as the beaten favorite in the sires stakes final, bounced back with a solid qualifier & looms large for Team Takter

RACE 3

7-Clementine Dream – Mare with speed & versatility followed up an aggressive C-1 upset with a solid rally for second at 50-1, she’s going in the right direction

2-Hillustrious – Rode the live cover of the winner & couldn’t quite get there in a crisp :27.1, Burke-tuned colt with Hambletonian aspirations made a nice recovery from post eight to win before that

6-My Inspiration – Kicked off her season breaking her maiden in a NJSS division with a sharp :26.3, a distant third in the final, Smedshammer filly has upside

RACE 4

6-Mr Jim Dandy – Got on a bit of a roll recently & won here with a perfectly timed rally by David Offenberg on 5-30, looks to rebound off a dull mile at Tioga

10-B L Class Act – Rallied for second here from post nine at 21-1 on 5-30, his form spree & the right trip could carry him past the stragglers

3-Wygant Prince – Faded to fifth here on 5-30, but comes off a well rated score in PA, draws inside here & will either be on or near the lead

RACE 5

8-Miss Machqueen – Was bothered while fading in the slop last week, has a chance to rebound with significant class relief, but must find a way into it

6-Don’t Blame Her – Classy 11YO mare fresh off a strong second in PA, drops to the bottom C-2 rung here, figures to flaunt her speed & class

4-Always On A Roll – Beaten favorite dropped back to C-2, had a perfect trip & was no match for a blowout winner Wanna Win, sharp right now

RACE 6

6-Handover Belle – Grand Circuit winner at three starting to cycle forward, rallied to score with a perfect cover trip from post ten last week & merits the step up

8-Whata Donato – Versatile Burke trainee tries to rebound off a break at Pocono & likely launches with speed on the class drop

10-Here Comes Numbers – After another three-week layoff he deals with post ten, yet seems to have settled down & owns a wicked kick

RACE 7

1-Western Empress – Like the way she turned things around with a menacing move & mild upset two starts back in PA, no chance here in the slop last week, Burke may have found the key to her

2-Marinade Hanover – Toss out her last two, a game runner up as the beaten favorite on 5-30, inside draw to put together a similar effort

6-Wanna Win – Must admit after her first start here I wasn’t impressed, but she rebounded with flair last week in a career best 1:51.4 over an off track, now must step up to C-1

RACE 8

9-Ma Chere Hall – Half million dollar major stakes winner at three has made breaks in three of four starts this year, gets significant class relief, yet is tough to gauge from post nine

5-Deweycolorintheline – Breeders Crown finalist last year has won five of his last six at Saratoga & lowered his mark to 1:55.1, carries his confidence back to the mile track

3-Rock Of Cashell – Has taken a couple of starts to acclimate here, flashed even more late trot from far back in :27 last week, gets another shot at this reduced C-1 level from an improved post

RACE 9

4-Chinese Cuisine – Flashed sharp speed & tired in his comeback behind Vida De Vie, but another stalking trip is imminent & more sustain is likely, Open class winner at The Red Mile last Fall

3-Vida De Vie – Steamrolled to the top & was collared by a revved up Caveat Emptor, a positive outing & more energy is expected with another inside draw

6-Dream Lake – Stayed flat, showed speed & gained a board spot in his second start off a sick scratch, chance to stretch out on the mile track with a positive driver change to Scottie Z

RACE 10

4-Ragazzo Dolce – Lone 3YO in the field dropped out of sires stakes for this series & broke in round one, but rallied to just miss last week & draws better

2-Upfrontstrikesgold – Displayed sudden speed over an off track last week, second by a nose in :27.3 on 5-30, inside draw gives him a big chance with a smooth trip

6-Marcus Bi – Rallied to be a solid third in the first leg, then had too far to come off a slow pace, an obvious closing threat, but could be stronger in the win column

RACE 11

5-Sebastian K S – Stunning is one way to describe his world record debut here, came right back to set a Cutler Stakes record, the 34-day layoff is only a minor concern

3-Market Share – Bounced back from his inexplicable break in the Cutler with a gutsy world record in the Maxie Lee, had another off night in Ohio & returns for a rematch with the monster

7-Sevruga – Consistent gelding vaulted over the $1 million mark with a speedy second in the Maxie Lee, still seems a step below the top two even on his best day

RACE 12

8-Lola De Vie – Note the way she left alertly & surged by for the 10-1 upset & new lifetime mark two starts back, $330,000 NYSS standout last year tries the bottom C-2 level again

6-Broadway Rocks – Drops into a soft C-2 after several no-chance trips, chance to flaunt his controlling speed & exploit this suspect field

5-Bluebird Kidsqueen – Dropped back to the C-2 level & showed her usual late kick, any semblance of her 1:53.3 win on 5-9 makes her threat here

RACE 13

7-Lotsa Matzah – Talented filly broke her maiden at Pocono Downs on 5-20, just missed in a NYSS division, then broke, worth a swing dropping into a wide-open C-2 here

5-Embassy Seelster – Just 1 for 16 this season, but a steady closer with a dangerous late kick, drops out of claimers & figures to thrive in the long stretch here

2-Deliciouslynaughty – Raced well gaining minor spoils in the Cathedra Dot Com Series, needed to acclimate, draws better & adds Dave Miller
