3-Bell A Chick – Gelding was a pace compromised beaten favorite @ Freehold last out, has proven himself here with some solid stretch moves & returns in a soft spot

2-Too Much Hanover – Trying to erase an 0 for 16 this season, seemed to be trending in the right direction before that clunker on 5-13, a bit better as the beaten favorite @ Freehold, inside draw facilitates a stalking trip

4-Take Heart – 0 for 15 in 2016, but shows steady recent form @ Monticello, makes his second start here for Al Annunziata, switches to Brett Miller & draws well

3-Ideal Rocky – Upset Boston Red Rocks in last year’s sires stakes final, rode the pocket & made it a fierce tussle with that rival in a superb 2016 debut

6-Boston Red Rocks – Last season’s 2YO champion has come back sharp, well rated & had to work through a :26.2 to hold off Ideal Rocky in a useful stretch out

2-Katies Rocker – Just like the top two here, his qualifiers were excellent & the Governor’s Cup runner up closed into a :52.2 back half last week & moves inside

1-Verdi – Chalk up his first two starts under Kyle Spagnola as an adjustment, this 11-time winner in 2015 owns controlling speed, lands the rail again & looks to avoid another miscue

7-Natural Kemp – 0 for 16 & just two for 30 lifetime, however nice wake up effort to hit the board chasing a 1:54.1 on 5-13 & blitzed by a 1:52.1 tally last week

8-Muscerene – Gelding has come around in his last few @ Freehold, knows his way around this track & switches to Tetrick

6-Well Bred – Was a sitting a three-hole off the speed & broke again last out, 1:51.3 winner from post eight back on 4-16 has some talent & drops dangerously for Burke

1-Charger Blue Chip – Beat much better here in 1:50.2 back in early January, recent form in PA okay with Lasix added, chance to trip out from the rail

2-Backdraft Hanover – Recent claim kept the every other pattern going & needed an all out effort to beat the 7,500s again two weeks ago, figures to be prominent

5-Martini Hanover – Sub 1:50 performer here gradually ramping up his game, drops again off a very solid third & draws a bit better

3-Michael’s Power – Classy Jug winner finally broke through in convincing fashion a notch below this & begins his ascent back up the ladder

8-Lawgiver Hanover – Switched to the mile track, added Gingras & tripped out for a new mark in a sharp :26.1, look for him to be blasting off

6-Im Supersonic A – Gelding has acclimated with a pair of on-the-board finishes, added Gingras & rallied from a tough spot to just miss last week

1-Agood Time To Rock – Gelding with a mark of 1:51 here makes only his second start in a year for Team Burke, gets class & post relief

2-Hope For Badlands – Winner at this level back on 3-19, freshened & sprinted home in :25.3 to win the qualifier, then couldn’t fight City Hall in a 1:49.3 mile

2-Melmerby Beach – Beaten favorite forced wide around a gapper & thundered home in :25.2 to just miss, sub 1:48 performer here moves inside in raging form

5-Jacksrluckytoo – Knocking on the door & appeared on the verge before being forced into a first grind, reunited with Jim Marohn, Jr.

6-Pansformative – Beaten favorite was forced wide while pace compromised last week, remains a live item at this level

6-Rock Power – Well-bred colt out of a sister to Michael’s Power with Grand Circuit stakes experience makes his second start off the bench in a wide open NW of 2

3-Rockin Ronnie – Stepped it up with a solid second chasing standout Stolen Glimpse, bodes well for his third start off the bench from post three again

2-Spicebomb – Flashed some :26 and change promise at two, lone qualifier was a very good second to a top Free For Aller in Clear Vision

1-Hudsonandbernard – Just missed with a hard-charging :26.2, then obviously wasn’t himself last week, big chance to rebound from the rail

4-Card Shock – Fresh off a much-improved mile chasing the favorite Lawgiver Hanover in :26.2 & makes his fourth start off the bench in a soft spot

6-In Commando – This gelding has clearly come around in his last two on smaller tracks & can show some of his back class in this light match up

1-Rebel Jet – His barn was ripping it up @ Freehold, sharp recent form, fresh off a narrow loss from a demanding post there & looks to be forwardly placed here

5-Prince Pinang – Dominant force at this price, added Gingras & was able to dictate a comfortable pace & hold off The Doctor, logical threat to repeat

9-Dr C’s Z Tam – 10YO has been in top form recently, put forth his second straight first over mile & just missed to Prince Pinang from post eight

6-Blue Moon Stride – 2015 NJSS champion was on cruise control & took a new mark of 1:51.3 in round one, obvious center of attention off that effort

5-JK Fannie – Won her first two of the season before the sick scratch & clearly needed that decent third last week, chance to step it up & surprise

3-Show Time Hill – Almost everything Alagna has unveiled has shown promise, this filly was left in the wake of Blue Moon Stride, but can improve from the same post

4-Bo’s So Hot – Added Scott Zeron & was a sneaky good fourth in :27 flat last week, draws well again in a wide-open finale

2-Steady Warrior – Beaten favorite over an off track at Tioga owns some gate speed, ships here into soft spot & adds Tetrick

1-Steady Pulse – Struggling here recently, but broke his 2016 goose egg @ Freehold two starts back from the rail & drops into the new bottom class here
