RACE 1

3-Coaster – Steady check earner in the tough Weiss Series, trying to overcome slow starts from demanding posts recently, Burke tuned gelding stormed home to win a Gilmour division back on 3-7 & can stalk the speed

2-Tomy Terror – Rated #9 on the Road to the Pace, a Simpson winner at Vernon Downs in a sizzling 1:50.2, second by a nose in the PASS Final, was better in the second qualifier, heads a strong 1-2 punch for John Butenschoen

7-Dragon Eddy – Grand Circuit winner at two going five for nine, excellent qualifiers at Southern Oaks Training Center, going faster than stablemate Tomy Terror

RACE 2

1-Spartacus Jim – Obviously trainer Scott Di Domenico saw something before he claimed him at Yonkers, has a big chance to trip out from the rail & spark his form in a real soft spot here

2-Gratias Deo – Gelding has had a productive season, popular at the claim box recently, cruised a new mark two starts back, his new barn doing good work here & draws better

5-Encoding Z Tam – Winner for this price at Dover Downs was roughed up from post eight, then got parked in his Big M debut, acclimated now & improved post

RACE 3

1-Soto – First crop of Rock N Roll Heaven & dam is a half sister to Sportswriter, blasted home in a wicked :54.2 and :26.1 in a sizzling qualifier for Takter

2-Revenge Shark – Pace eligible for Tony Alagna paced a :54.3 back half, but Gokudo Hanover had already stolen away, primed for his second try off the bench

3-Gokudo Hanover – Credit the magic touch of Campbell for stealing that Spring Preview opener last week, unleashed a career best blowout before that & draws well

RACE 4

6-Gweneeee J – Twice beaten chalk endured another game grind & battled bitterly with her stablemate Lady Spartacus last week, chance to turn the tables

9-Lady Spartacus – Half of the strong Linda Toscano 1-2 punch in here fought bravely on the lead & held off Gweneeee J to score in a sparkling Big M debut, more demanding post assignment tonight

4-Callacam – Callahan bred filly just missed back-to-back at Dover Downs before the late miscue last time, inside draw after a needed trip over the track

RACE 5

3-Bobby The Greek – After some promising preps at Dover Downs he took the conservative route & rallied off the speed in his first trip here, figures to offer even more from a better post

6-Edward Teach – Uncorked an eye-catching 3YO debut here in round one, Team Burke trainee logically has a big chance to build on that

2-Wegottatruckyea – Beaten chalk got rebuffed by Edward Teach & parked out, still paced home in :27.4, two-move score at Pocono Downs before that, moves inside to rebound

RACE 6

4-Rock Out – Tried to go all the way & lost by a head to Panchester United two starts back, then completely blocked behind that rival & split them too late in a five-ply photo last week, added eighth helps him, impossible to leave out in a great handicapping puzzle

3-Major Uptrend – Runner up in finals of the Escort, Sonsam & Weiss Series, roughed up at Pocono last out, draws well to stalk the expected speed, one of four Burke trainees in a wild second leg of the Whata Baron

1-Panchester United – Beaten favorite tried the aggressive route & was barely outgamed by Bettorever last week, on a long form spree for Team Burke & figures to be forwardly placed again from the rail

RACE 7

7-Odds On Equuleus – Rocketed home off the torrid fractions to score decisively in his latest comeback, used too hard protecting the rail last week, a very live Tony Alagna trainee is more effective coming from off the pace

6-Speed Again – Classy Burke trainee was close to a pretty hot pace & pacing strong at the wire in 1:49.3, getting back in shape, drops further & can stalk the ample speed on view

3-Mister Truth – Left alertly, got shuffled & shook loose too late in a useful acclimating mile after winning three straight at Dover Downs, an opportunist option with another inside post

RACE 8

3-Apollo Seelster – Apollo has blasted off for four in a row & three straight at Dover Downs since switching to their leading trainer Dylan Davis, lands here in a field of question marks fresh off a career best of 1:51

6-Idealbeach Hanover – 0 for 14 in 2015, but that was a serious rally to just miss by a nose to the classy Dapper Dude, also note the solid third in the Clyde Hirt Final, cycling back around

5-Art History – Beaten favorite was blitzed by the talented Gokudo Hanover & was right there in his seasonal debut, obviously tighter now & rates contender status for Steve Elliott

RACE 9

1-Journeyman – First in a dead heat here back in January, solid recent efforts at Pocono for Team Burke, getting class & post relief for his return to the mile track

3-Mister Virgin – Was shuffled a bit & had some stretch traffic issues & finished well once clear, huge 1:50.1 winner on 3-28 is a fresh claim with another inside post

4-Diamond Said – Reclaimed by Virgil Morgan, Jr. off a no-chance trip, convincing winner before that for current connections, steps up, but meets a camera-shy field & reunited with Brett Miller

RACE 10

1-Big Jer – Got hampered by an early breaker, then parked the mile from post seven in his third start off the bench, 1:49.2 performer here last season now hits rock bottom & moves inside

2-Johnny Z – Based on his impressive 2015 stats it’s hard to believe his poor record this season, fired out & left in the wake of a runaway Sweet Beach last week, gets class & post relief

9-Stormin Rustler – 11YO warhorse rounding back into form, fresh off an excellent effort & narrow loss in that short series final, give him a chance despite post nine

RACE 11

3-Doo Wop Hanover – Last year’s NJSS champion closed into a noteworthy :53.3 back half chasing Fool Me Once in an inspiring comeback, fully expecting more & has a chance to stalk from closer range

6-Dovuto Hanover – Just missed to Fool Me once fresh off the bench, then simply paid the price for an unusually slow start last week as the beaten favorite, fresh & sharp enough to atone

1-Fool Me Once – Launched on another speed mission & simply blew them away in 1:49, while bearing out into the three path in the stretch, still fresh on the comeback trail & heads a strong entry

RACE 12

7-Capozzo – Competed against some top level foes in the Levy Series recently, this is too much of a class drop to ignore & finds a very friendly field

8-Sir Cary’s Z Tam – Caught languishing at the back with zero chance last week, had been chasing a raging Windsong Gorgeous, owns a big kick & plummets to try to stop his losing skid

9-Mambo Italiano – Recent claim by a white hot barn, had to swerve around a first turn breaker & bottomed them out with a dazzling career best at age eight, nosed out with a gigantic rally before that, rates highly off those eye-opening miles

RACE 13

8-Rockaholic – Beaten favorite fresh off the Michael Russo claim was shuffled & caught behind a wall before shaking loose with some late pace, leaves for stalking position here

9-NF Drum Roll – Dropped in for this price & promptly bounced back to crush these in last Saturday’s finale, controlling speed is his forte, so expect another blast off

4-Private Interview – Intriguing Maryland invader freshened after starting off his year three-for-three at Rosecroft, draws well to flaunt his speed, yet tough to gauge
