RACE 1

2-Southern Flair – Her form has been pretty even over synthetic at Presque Isle Downs, yet she owns a win and a second in three starts on Turf

 

3-Princessbellaoncal – 1 for 20, but continues her descent down the class ladder & has a chance to flaunt her speed with an inside draw

 

8-I Forget – 1 for 18 and 0 for 13 this season, yet she did set a pressured pace in most recent at Penn National, owns a second & a third at the distance & returns to Turf

 

7-Gold Potion – Has been eased in two of her last three – both on sloppy tracks, tries Turf & a reduced level

 

RACE 2

6-Armed U S A – Ran well when claimed last time at Monmouth Park, a belated third before that at a flat mile on dirt & stretches out to a mile

 

4-Dear John – Beaten favorite claimed in June, rallied & ran a solid second at a flat mile over Monmouth Park, steady threat with the right set up

 

8-Northwood Bully – Dropped & romped to a mild upset last time at Delaware Park, upset $12,500 claimers at Monmouth Park with a big rally & owns a win over the course

 

9-Global Glow – Has hit the board in four of five this season, had early traffic issues two back at Monmouth Park, game speed last out at Parx

 

RACE 3

8-Arion Silver – Red-hot Delaware invader wins two of his last three, held on under steady pressure last time & owns blinding speed

 

5-Strategic Defense – Only 3 for 36, but comes off a pair of improved efforts at Monmouth Park, including a narrow loss two back

 

1-Alke John – Put forth a mild three-wide rally for third fresh off the bench, Ed Broome trainee steps back slightly in class & gets Paco Lopez

 

7-Dubai Time – Made a late move to the front & finished a game third by a neck last out, breezing for this & owns a win at the Big M

 

RACE 4

7-Secret Ops – Beaten favorite with speed two back, a more manageable rally for third last time, heading in the right direction & dips in price

 

2-Bobrovsky – Named for Columbus Blue Jackets goalie + 2013 Vezina trophy winner Sergei Bobrovsky, late run just behind Secret Ops last time, working on an 0 for 15

 

3-Don’t Stop Back – Wheels right back off a late-running fourth behind Secret Ops, improving 3YO for Ed Broome draws better

 

8-Safari Samba – Beaten favorite was cooked in a three-wide duel & dug in gamely, tries Turf & cuts back to five furlongs

 

RACE 5

3-Acting On A Feelin – Scored two in a row for a bigger price at Monmouth Park before giving way last time, dangerous on the rebound

 

6-Quincy Lee – A solid second two back at Monmouth Park, then raced well at Laurel Park, just 2 for 31 on Turf, yet owns a win over the course

 

1-Mistie Royal – Notched her seventh win in 27 on Turf with a nose upset over Fava & Wildcat Sierra, moves inside for a serious shot at repeating

 

2-Fava – Beat Wildcat Sierra despite being steadied on the far turn two back, then got nosed out by Mistie Royale with a five-wide, hard-charging rally

 

RACE 6

7-Slewie Jones – Beaten favorite was claimed off an inside rally, had traffic before that & just missed on the Monmouth Park turf course on July 18th

 

1-Calesita Bay – Was freshened up & closed well from a tough spot at Penn National, popular item at the windows lands inside here

 

2-Hope For Tomorrow – Was gaining in her last two, the latest a sprint over a yielding course at Delaware Park, drops in price & finally gets an inside draw

 

3-Trick My Hat – Some recent efforts at Parx were trouble-filled & make her a contender at this cheaper price
